Bahco21 Inch Bow Saw with Extra Wet Cut Blade

Great saw, fantastic wet blade performance
The wet wood blade is amazing! I bought this specifically because my previous 12" saw only had a dry wood blade and I had some 6-8 inch recently felled tree trunks/branches to saw through. Honestly, the dry blade would start binding after maybe a 1 inch depth, whereas the wet blade just keeps going and makes short work of the job. Would definitely recommend.

Great Valve and Sturdy
Over the last few weeks I've been slowly cutting down a 30 foot laburnum tree (that was 65-70% infected) I'd been quoted silly money by "tree surgeons" to cut down but not remove or infect the roots. So off I set with my trusty loppers and saw, however, when the branches got to over 3" I needed something with a bit more cutting edge (I don't like using a chain-saw!!) So (after a bit of research and reviews) I invested in the Bahco 21 Inch Bow Saw with Extra Wet Cut Blade What a little gem!! it made easy going of the 3" to 5" branches and although the main trunk is over 11" thick it certainly did the job with a bit of elbow grease. I'm now slowly and "organically" trying to kill off the root system. All in all (apart the time factor) I've have saved over £600 on one the tree surgeons quote!!

Excellent saw
I took a long while deciding which saw to purchase to do some light to medium tree pruning. Having worked as a landscape gardener's assistant 20 years ago and having used lots of different saws in the garden over the years, I can confidently say that this one is the best. Well made, solid, easy to use and comfortable to hold naturally, it is a top buy. I did also get one of those other 'fold out' type saws which was very good, but this one is the best.5 Stars.

Sturdy saw. Suited to branches rather than stumps. 👍🏻
Great saw. Pleased to get 2 different blades (wet or dry wood). I'm using it for sawing through thick stumps. If day is best suited for arm sized tree limbs.Took me a while to work out the technique for changing saw blades. It's obvious and very easy once you get the knack of it.

Absolutely essential tool for garden maintenance
I have used the Sandvik equivalent of this saw for many years until I mislaid it. Fortunately I was recommended this make and I am glad I bought it.In short it is easy to use, lightweight, strong and cuts through branches as thick as my wrist in a matter of seconds. I haven't used it for joinery yet, but that is not why I would buy it. Rough wood, green wood that is its preferred diet. The extra blade is not a gimmick, it is really great for wet wood.If you really want to, you could probably break it through misuse, but my guess is that the blade would go first.First class.

Value for money, very sharp
Had some very large silver birch limbs to cut. I used the blade that was already on it. It chewed right through one as thick as my thigh in a few minutes without gumming up, though did have to rotate the branch due to it being so big. Very impressed, you can use both hands to keep cutting more efficiently.

Does the job it was bought for.
After reading the reviews bought this saw and it is ideal for easily cutting up tree branches up to 4inches if you need to. In conjunction with a tool bench did the job in only a few hrs.

Absolutely brilliant!
I have never had to cut up logs before and cutting up using my normal saws was soul destroying. This saw, using the wet wood blade was a pleasure to use. My title says it all - absolutely brilliant.
