Great alternative sweetener
I needed to purchase some more xylitol because I use it as a sugar for a number of things like teas and so on. I also know if the health benefits that have been found with xylitol for your teeth as well as bones so that's an added bonus. I bought this because the quantity for the price was decent the quality I would say is very good the flavor is mild it doesn't have any distinctive odd taste to anything you put it in. I think it's a much better sugar substitute for anyone who is sugar conscious be it diabetic or whatever it is. The only thing I will warn people is if you were not accustomed to it it could cause you some digestive challenges at first until your body gets used to it.

Good stuff!
Great taste! You can even bake with it. It is good in drinks, and I didn't even notice the cooling effect most xylitol sweeteners have. Really tasty.

packets would be better. I wish Amazon would carry the Ideal brand sugar substitute because it was the only sugar substitute that didn't have an after taste.

Granulated, not powdered
Xylitol is a great product. It tastes sweet but is actually good for your teeth, so I was excited to get a powdered version that would mix in easier with some of my recipes. Unfortunately it looks just like another one I have that is granulated, it isn’t powdered at all. You can see in the picture, one bowl has xylitol that is granulated and the other bowl has this “powdered” version. They look just the same.

Glad I found this.
Since I developed Type 2 Diabetes. I had to adjust my diet and no longer eat sugary or starchy foods that make me very sick, but I still have get a wistful craving for a little sugar in my tea, and for a home made cookie once in a while. Finding birch based xylitol has been wonderful. It's an excellent, healthier way to satisfy that craving without sacrificing my health. My sweet tooth is happy.
