8-Ft Rope
Received these yesterday, went out and started jumping rope. The Pros: The rope swings freely in the handles and is a good weight, I did not have any troubles speed jumping or doing double-unders with it. The handles fit nicely in my hands and my kids hands (who are 9 and 11). The length of the rope is a bit long for my 9 year old, but is still usable for him, it is a good length for my 11 year old (he is about 4 3/4 ft tall). The Cons: The rope is about an inch too short for me (at 5 ft 5 in), but it is workable, just difficult to do the crosses. Also noticed there is a rounding at the bottom of the rope that is difficult to get out, but after using it for about 20 minutes it started to work out a bit...I think with more use the rope will straighten out good. I would not store the rope rolled up, at least not for the first week or so after you get it.

works great if you know what you are doing
I used 2 of these to get 2 ports of a hub down 1 Ethernet cable. use one at each end and you will be happy. Please note that this is NOT a "magic box" that will make one port of your switch become two ports. This device is made so that you can use one cat-X cable, and carry two individual Ethernet connections over one catX cable. You need a slitter at each end and you need 2 free ports on your switch. This unit works because cat-X cable has 8 wires, and Ethernet uses only 4 of those 8. This box will let you use all eight wires, and carry 2 separate Ethernet connections.

Great Value for the Price
Came just as described. I use for workouts, however they could also be great for kids. Sturdy and a great price.

Excellent Start for Jump Rope Fitness
This is an excellent jump rope to start out with. However, when you first get it in the mail, you'll want to you put the rope in hot water in order to straighten it out a bit. You don't have to do this if you prefer to use it as it is, but it'll help break in the rope faster. I'd suggest going to a speed rope once you get good with this one.

Strong quality, but has a kink in it. Bought the length for my height 5'2" but seems a tad short.
