Nice frame but mitre joints should be tighter
Right overall size and frame depth for what we needed. Arrived on time and safely packaged.Frame mitres we’re disappointing as the joint gaps were not really tight, so detracted from a quality finish. Had to slide a little smear of wood glue neatly into each joint and clamp tight overnight to achieve the correct appearance. Also, shame that this size only came with flexible polycarbonate instead of picture glass. Fortunately we had a spare piece of glass of the correct size to use instead.Final result was fine, so we’re happy in the end - but you shouldn’t have to tighten up brand new frame corners like that.

You end up having to return half of the frames and the customer service is not great.
*Edit- I’m not sure why it says I reviewed this in 2018 as I entered a review January 2021. Strange. I’ve been buying the square 12x12 white box frames from this supplier to display my artwork since 2017 and they are good quality but I have been disappointed with the a number of issues. One of which is the amount of frames I have had to return because the frames have small scratches on the front frame or sometimes the glass, which until recently is now no longer glass, which isn’t an issue here. (They have a peel off both sides before using to protect from scratching, which is an improvement). The only thing I can think of, is that the marks on the frame were caused by the warehouse/supplier when handling them. The backs of the frame have metal tabs that fold down the backing into place and I think it’s this that causes the scratches. Each frame comes individually bubbled wrap, so it doesn’t happen in transportation. In recent times I’ve had to send back half of the frames I’ve ordered. The customer service is not particularly great expecting when I had to return them. I got permission to return the frames and they said they would send out replacements. Under the guidance rules I had to return them at my own cost, tracked if they were valued more than £25, which is fine (previously they used to provide a paid returns label). And the postage would be refunded because the items were faulty. So it went by Royal Mail tracked on the cheapest method and it finally arrived there signed. I had to chase the CS and no reply apart from an automated email a few days after saying they were refunding the frames and part of the shipping costs for only when they sent out my original order. No word on the postage refund for the return costs. It took weeks to chase this up until I had to go through Amazon with proof of receipt, and me having to lay out the rules of return. Finally an automated email came and I was refunded for the returns postage. From now on I won’t be buying from them again after the hassle I had to go through in dealing with them. It’s not the one off it’s been quite frustratingly frequent in the past few years. I’ve now found another supplier instead.

I bought this to display some badges in. It does the job and it was good value for money.

It's not glass, as advertised, but styrene
Very nice frame, well made and looks good, but was disappointed that the advertised glass was in fact styrene - I wouldn't have chosen it if this had been clear (I have a screenshot of the Amazon ad. which clearly states glass against the white frame for the size I ordered) - this is a personal preference as I prefer the clarity and rigidity afforded by glass, took me ages to get the styrene clean enough to seal the frame and will probably replace using glass from an existing frame

A nice frame
It’s a shame it’s a Perspex front rather than glass but I understand why. It is a nice sturdy frame with the option to have a cream or white cardboard surround and back mount (by reversing it)The back mount is only just big enough to fit in the frame and needed to be place centrally in order for it to not slip beneath.
