Farberware - 70152 Farberware Buena Cocina Stainless Steel Dish/Casserole Pan with Lid, 6 Quart, Silver

I've had recipes that called for a 10 inch skillet boil over or expand beyond the bounds of the skillet so I bought this for those recipes. It works great, heats well, and is deep enough and big enough around that those 10-inch recipes fill this just half full, leaving enough margin to keep from big kitchen messes. I have a Farberware stainless pan set that we have used for over 20 years so I am a fan of Farberware for inexpensive kitchenware and this has lived up to my expectations. They're not as good as our Cuisinart French pans or maybe as an All-Clad but they're still very good pans at far lower prices than those top-of-the-line stainless products. I highly recommend them.

Great for rice in large batches and making soup. Does not stick if you use low and medium heat.The weight of the pan is nice and the riveted handles are sturdy. Go to pan for casseroles. Nice to bring to an event--makes a nice presentation. Still my favorite pan to make large casseroles or rice with.

Absolutely LOVE it. I haven’t even used it in the oven yet, although I assume it will be great when I do.Because of the pandemic, I’m cooking in larger quantities than I used to. That way, I can freeze lots of stuff for later eating, and make fewer trips to the grocery store.I’ve been using this for lots of sautéing and skillet meals. It’s absolutely perfect because of its shape. The flat part at the bottom is large enough, and the relatively high sides means larger batches don’t spill over the top. (I am a very messy cook.)Additionally, the heat distribution is excellent, so that the foods don't have to be on the bottom flat surface to cook just fine.It’s also a complete breeze to clean. It’s not coated or anything, yet it looks as good today as when I bought it.One of the best kitchen purchases I’ve ever made. Honestly...I’d love it at twice the price.

I bought this casserole pan to use in our vacation home. When I saw it, I decided it stays in our home.

My daughter absolutely loves this pan. No more non-stick for her and the size is perfect for her needs. Very good quality and it looks sharp too.

This is my new favorite pot. I use it mostly for cooking pasta, it takes less time to come to a boil than my old big tall stock pot. Perfect size for my family of 5, and cleans easily. Lighter and easier to handle than my stock pot as well. I've cooked pasta, chicken, casseroles, "one pot" meals, and even soup in this!

This item replaced a dutch oven that was well over 25 years old. Love the new one. It was very easy to clean. The pan was a heavy metal which is what we wanted.

I think this is probably a good pot for some quick cooking and some one day or two regular storing...but I thought this can be used for hot pot and soy sauce brine food boiling&storing, it got some erosion by that...It can be removed by using some heavy duty scrub sponge or steel scouring pad but still don't think it supposed to happen. Other than that it‘s ok.
