Been using this at work and it seems to function well. I like how you can turn it so the switch doesn't get turned on when in a pocket or tool bag. Came with a spare ceramic insert that I was able to use to replace the cracked one on my fiber meter. Great product and great price.

I work for a telecommunications company, so this tool comes in very handy. Easy to use. It has a collar that rotates around the top so that it can protect the power switch from accidentally turning on.. Batteries are easy to change out if they start to corrode. Nice grip. I have used several times, no issues. I have the 30 km (18 mile) version. I recommend this item.

The first one receuved got manufacture defect, the On/Off switch stuck. Contacted seller, seller responded right away. Got a replacement the very next day. Thanks. Works great for the price value.

Good product and work as expected. I have used it extensively and it serves the purpose well. I had to buy it again because I may have lost the one I used to use. The only little complain I have is about the case, it should have a small pocke to keep the adapter so that it is not lost.

Pro: laser light is very bright Cons: only good for 5 mins of playing around after opening the box. Brought out for 1st day of use, and didn't work on the very first fiber I needed to trace. Put it back together, and it kept falling apart the rest of the day. Returned.

I work in a facility where there are no less than six different agencies sharing infrastructure, network racks, and data closets. Spread out across a facility taking two city blocks, lacking labelling or documentation and having a literal web of copper, fiber, and coax makes my job of tracking down anything quite the task. This saved hours of work for me, when we recently had to dual home seven new switches in this environment. The laser is powerful enough that you WILL see it on the other end, even in the worst conditions. The various connector types make sure that you're going to be able to use it on nearly any fiber you run across. Good product, I actually bought two.
