Riedel Vivant Balloon Decanter, 36.68 oz, Clear

I'm very pleased with this decanter. I was surprised at the size, as I'm more accustomed to larger ones. I filled it with water in the amount of a typical bottle of wine and surprisingly it came to where the wine is shown on the Riedel box. My picture showing a typical bottle of wine next to the decanter should give you an idea of the size. I never knew I needed a decanter that wouldn't take up so much cabinet space until I received this one. I will be buying another one for those times when multiple bottles need decanting. I likely won't be using my expensive/elaborate ones in the future, unless I feel the need to really impress guests. Riedel wine accessories have always been a name I could depend on otherwise I wouldn't have risked buying this online. Normally I'd want to actually feel the glass thickness & weight. This one had that thin glass that us serious fine wine drinkers look for & expect.

I love this decanter. It does not drip after pouring.

This was great for another one I broke. The price is fantastic, so I bought two.

Very nice and elegant decanter, really opens up a great bottle of Pinot ! Makes a mediocre bottle better!
