Scent: Viking Storm I like the feel & hold of the balm, but I'm not at all digging the scent in Viking Storm. To me, it reminds me of bug spray. It's VERY strong. I have a very long beard, so I use a good amount. My wife doesn't mind it, but it's not her favorite either. Maybe I'll try a different smell next time? Or, just go back to the Bossman Hammer I've been using for years. I was looking to change it up, but I should have stayed with what I like. Oh well. Still, a comfortable beard balm. Not overly greasy and it softens nicely.

Viking storm beard butter is the good stuff. I live in a house with my wife and three teenagers, two boys and a girl, as the father, if something smells good or bad on you they are going to let you know. They all love how Viking storm smells and I get conformation every time I put it on.

I love this product. The shaping quality of the product combined with the scheen you get with bears oil is a homerun. The scent is also incredible, kind of a piney woods smell. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is the price seems a bit steep for the actual amount you get.
