The threads are correct. But the hole in the center of the adapter isn't wide enough. So the Home Depot hose will only thread in maybe half a turn and stop. The adapter is flawed. My alternative is to use the included 1/4" quick connector. But it's plastic and there is no way I'm going to use that. I had one spontaneously fail several years ago in the middle of the night. My wife and I woke up to a completely flooded kitchen and dining room. So I refuse to use cheap plastic fittings.So, as another reviewer stated, there is no way to hook up this faucet. And that makes this faucet junk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do a pre installation inspection *by V***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2018* I would of gave it 5 stars. Here's the reason I didn't. I have a Granite countertop where my Faucet and accessories mount. The holes are pre-drilled. Whatever the standard size is. Everything was going well. I removed the old leaking one and was ready to install the new one. When I noticed the base of the water faucet was rather small. I placed it over the mounting hole and it just barely covered it. It DID cover the hole. The mounting washer that goes below the countertop was way to small. The washer was smaller than the hole. Luckily I was removing the old one and that one had a similar washer but much bigger. I was able to use it and the faucet mounted perfectly without any gaps around the base of the faucet. It looks very attractive and works great. It would of been perfect if they installed a larger washer. I would recommend it but I would also recommend you inspect it prior to installing ### ⭐ It doesn't actually drain *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2018* This drain looks good and traps hair but it doesn't actually drain. Most times I shower, my walk-in shower becomes a swamp. We bought it because it has the anti-odor trap but we ended up removing that thinking it will allow the water to drain. It worked for a few showers without the anti-odor and now it doesn't drain again.
