We often have an adult or two in the back seat for a trip across town. When they get in, there would always be a delay waiting for the folks in the back to buckle up. ESPECIALLY at night. It's impossible to see the black receptacle on the black seat in the dark. Even when they could find it with their hand, it would sometimes be the receptacle for the middle seat buckle, but ALWAYS it would flop around and make it really hard to push the buckle into place.The front seat belt receptacles are on a rigid mount. Why not the back? So you won't jab yourself in the back if you're playing games in the back seat? Hmm...These devices worked fine. Amazon assured me that they would fit my Chevrolet Bolt EUV, and they did, even though my measurements of the receptacle and the measurements Amazon gave didn't QUITE match. I decided to give it a shot.These are made of a flexible material, but rigid enough to hold in place. I ordered the red color because I decided if they for some reason keep me from being able to pull up the seat (to reach the emergency battery shutoff, for instance) I'd want to see them clearly.We'll see how well they last in the heat of summer and cold of winter. But since I paid only eleven bucks, it's not a huge investment to help the folks in the back.One thing about the directions -- very hard to understand what they're getting at. But I will suggest something that helped me -- once I squeezed the receptacle most of the way through from the bottom side, I pushed the seat belt buckle into the receptacle and then used the buckle to easily pull the receptacle up and push the item down until the receptacle was positioned above the top of this thing. Mine now look just like the Amazon photo. Quite straightforward!So far everyone who has used them has found the buckles easy to fasten, even at night. Success!
