ROCCAT Sova - Gaming Lapboard

The whole thing feels comfy & stable, although an extra mouse pad is needed due to the slippery surface. I'm using it with the provided (and already long) usb cable, but have also tried an extra extension to get even more length. It worked without a problem. The default "breathing" animation of the keys is beyond awful and cannot be changed by pressing function keys alone. Installing official software solves this. Still wondering who has come up with the idea this would be a good default visual effect for new users. Despite this small initial annoyance, SOVA is a great product which surpassed my already high expectations. If you are after exactly this type of product (a large, wired keyboard lapboard with lots of space for palms and mouse), this can hardly get any better.

The keyboard is good quality and very sturdy. Great for gaming.

I'll start with the bad:1. The dimensions on Amazon are inaccurate, it states a width of 39cm however the board is 64cm. Not the end of the world but an inconvenience as I bought it thinking it would sit between the arms of my armchair.2. Functions abysmally when Roccatt Swarm isn't installed. I had to reinstall Windows and ended up needing to use the on screen keyboard as this would respond to every 4th or 5th keystroke. Disappointment from USB.3. Roccat Swarm app is meant to allow PC component monitoring on your phone, this does not work and only displays "0" for everything.4. So far, with about 24 hours total use, a keystroke has stuck for 2 seconds despite the key being reset. Assuming software and not build quality as it has been different keys.5. Not really bad but the key layout is a bit strange and there is no numpad. Fine once you get used to if you have a mouse with a numpad.And now the good:1. Very comfortable to use. Sits nicely on the lap and there is plenty of space to rest your wrist.2. Brings 2 USB ports over to the couch with it, I've got my mouse and phone connected.3. Pretty decent customisation options with regards to functionality, you're stuck with blue back-lighting but it looks pretty good. Can saving multiple profile for different games.4. Very responsive and actually quite satisfying for a non mechanical keyboard. Aside from the issues above every keystroke is solid and reliable.5. The large mouse area gives you plenty to work with. It is a bit slippery as other reviewers have mentioned however a £5 cloth mat from Steel Series has solved this.Overall a worthwhile purchase. Marked down for value as I feel this keyboard alone should be £40-£50 so you're paying a lot of the price towards couch convenience. Marked down for gaming as I can't give 5 stars to something unless if shows no issues at all with performance or bugs.There aren't many lapboards on the market, if you're planning to game from the couch you can't go wrong here.

Awesome product, comfortable and effective.

A nice keyboard with the usb connection issue, whether it is defective or poor design, in any case it has died within 2 years and I cannot get any support for the product. Quite ridiculous.

Good keyboard for relaxing

It's a bit pricey for basically a keyboard and mouse on a tray with a long cable but it's great for the large TV and sofa setup. Only trip over the cables 3 or 4 times a month. No discomfort from extended use.

Very good product.

I'm a gamer with pretty bad back problems so I have a very hard time with sitting in a computer chair at a desk for long periods of time. This was the perfect solution - I now have my setup to use my comfy couch-chair with my 40 inch TV in front of me as a screen. The lapboard is very comfortable, not too heavy and the cushions underneath it make it comfortable as well. I use a mousepad with it because otherwise the mouse would just slide off. Highly recommended.

Attention la version ici est un QWERTY.Confort excellent.4m de longueur de câble pour être installé confortablement.Attention cependant, le revêtement tapis de souris glisse énormément. Certains n’aimeront pas.

Inizialmente ero abbastanza scettico all'idea di un kit mouse e tastiera da divano, ma ho voluto comunque provare per soddisfare la mia curiosità.Ho dovuto ricredermi, il sistema risulta estremamente comodo e naturale.La tastiera pur non essendo meccanica è di ottima fattura, e non mi ha fatto assolutamente sentire la mancanza di quella che usavo in precedenza.L'unica debolezza sta nel cavo, che pur essendo sufficientemente lungo da raggiungere il "PC da salotto" a volte può dare fastidio, una eventuale versione senza fili sarebbe la perfezione.

Caro, para el acabados plasticoso que tiene. Viene sin el ratón. No las luces no son muy potentes. No volveré a comprar nada de esta marca
