14535 Alphatrak II Test Strips 50's

Honestly, we've bought the knock off brands and dealt with the inaccurate results and often using 2-3 strips just to get one number, but I wouldn't trust any other strip besides this one going forward. My husband was using the knock off one night when I was still at work and Paco's glucose was coming in at 10, then saying too high to chart, then 50. We were so stumped and couldn't decide if he needed to be rushed to the emergency vet or just wait it out. I tossed those strips and we're back to using these. I'll never make the mistake again to switch strips. These are more expensive for sure, but isn't peace of mind worth it?

Use in Alphatrak II to monitor my diabetic dog’s blood glucose levels. These test strips are designed to be used with the AlphatrakII monitor—I have spoken with Zoetis and using a different brand in their monitor could give very different results and impact the health of your diabetic pet. Have been able to perform glucose curves at home as well as check his levels when he seems “off”. Feel that I have been able to avoid emergency trips to the vet as I can communicate with her about his readings and address issues from home.

I had them for my diabetic cat and these worked great. I am also a vet tech and used them in my hospital so they are hospital grade and will give you accurate results. Good luck :)

I bought these to work with my Alpha Track 2 glucometer for my cat. The price is the only negative. The strips are consistent. The glucometer reads higher than the glucose level as determined in lab test at the vet. I like that it only requires .3 microliter blood sample.

This is quite accurate however I still don’t get why this is so expensive. This is almost the same price as the machine. I’m just glad our dog is finally able to find his balance with his sugar that we don’t need it that much. We are using it now as needed. But it was quite hard when we we’re just starting and figuring out how to begin because this is so expensive especially if you calculate all other stuff that you need to take care of a diabetic dog. I’m just complaining about the price but the product is good. I think it’s just how American healthcare price is whether for humans or animals always so pricey.

I needed these for my diabetic cat.. I hate sticking her all the time but I have to check her sugar levels.. Also I love the auto ship feature, because I do not ever run out and it's very easy to have them shipped to my home instead of running to the vet's office all the time and I save money this way about $7.00 as opposed to the vet clinic..
