Will this work with the original tri-screen?

While the adapter will work with the Original Xebec Tri-Screen (version 1) it may require an extension cable to reach the inputs since the V1 Tri-Screen inputs are on the far edge of the screen.

will this one adapter work on both screens? Or will i need to purchase 2 adapter so each screen can use and adapter

The adapter provides both video and power to just a single screen. If you wanted to use the adapter to operate both screens of the Tri-Screen 2 you would need to purchase two adapters.
