Not as expected
Has a preboiled like smell. Takes much time to cook. Only outer shell is black, inside is white (unlike Assam's black rice which is black everywhere). Not good experience.

Poor Product
The product is marketed as black rice however upon cooking it, it turns out it is brown rice and not black rice.For consumption purposes, the rice has a very poor/dry texture compared to all other brown rice varieties I have consumed in the past.
