What I was looking for! Replacement for old LED lighting.
We had extensive LED color changing lighting, all LED's contained in transparent plastic tubes, which was professionally installed perhaps 15+ years ago in a separate party/cook house. Over the years the units successively failed and I discovered the company was now out of business and no replacements were available. This product is the perfect replacement for my installation. I am impressed with everything about this product, especially the infinite dimming and colors, and the timer. I installed 12 linked together. I am wondering if this model will also work with the remote control used on the sister model. But it is easy to program and very versatile. It is very well made!

Easy install
The fact that they link together for a matching color fade across all lights is great. Connecting with the phone app also a nice feature. Everything seems to work well, just not sure on durability in the weather. TBD

Bright
Seems very solid construction. Very bright and colorful lighting. Wish I could detach the second cable that is used to connect another light so I don’t have to drag it around. Bluetooth is the way to go. The app works fine but the speed adjustment doesn’t get very fast even at the fastest position

Lamps bricked after 90 min, cannot factory reset
We bought 2 rounds of these devices for a show. Both test groups had the same issue. We powered them up in the office to test programming and after approx. 90 minutes of demo/testing/programming - the device "died", went offline and would not power back on. These devices have a Factory Reset process - worked when they were first delivered, stopped working after the failure. We bought four more (second round) - the same thing happened. We tried working with support and that did not go well. They could only do the basics (try factory reset, try to uninstall/reinstall the app, etc.) Support was not helpful.Here's my best guess... I predict these things have some kind of firmware upgrade process that (maybe) runs in the background. Something corrupted these devices and bricked them. I doubt all died at the same time due to electrical issues - I bet something went wrong with the onboard firmware. Anyway, support had no clue - but did offer to replace them.

Resets with power outage
This light is great for indoor or outdoor use. It is heavy duty so can withstand winds. App controlled and you can switch colors quickly. One thing I noticed is that is there is a power outage, the light resets and comes on, so I have to manually turn it off.
