The book title leads you to believe this is a book about hunting dogs....not so.But the stories were good.

A fine collection of outdoor stories from a variety of writers old and new. Well worth the purchase and time spent reading. The book did a fine job of touching all the emotions. I am always on the look out for any book about the upland ways or anything to do with the great outdoors for that matter. This one filled the bill just fine. Thank You Mr. Sparano for putting this one together!

My husband is not a reader but he couldn't put down this book. He's an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman and he really enjoyed these stories. He finished it in a week which for him is amazing as he normally gets bored of reading pretty quickly.

The title is a bit misleading, as least I assumed every story has a dog but it's not. I'm only interested in the story between a hunter and a hunting dog, not how to hunt birds. But the stories where there is a dog are all well written.

Book was exactly as described and shipped quickly. Great seller
