I don’t often have the attention span to sit down with a book, but I sincerely enjoyed this one. It helps to be interested in the topic, but if you’re a trustee or considering accepting the responsibility, you’ll certainly find this book helpful in more than one way. It is written with a conversational tone and organized in a very practical way. Very easy to jump to sections of interest to address specific concern or read front to back (which I rarely do but found easy with this book).I actually bought this book along with another on the same topic; after perusing them both I quickly determined I didn’t need the other.If you’re considering literature on being a trustee, start here.

Very thorough summary of trustee's responsibilities. Easy to understand. A must-have for any trustee.

Recommended by an estate attorney. But lack the details related to real estate in San Francisco county.

Very complex topic written so that most people can understand it easily. Good reference book for trust administrator. I have found Nolo books to be extremely helpful on many topics.

I ordered this 2023 edition because, although I have the 2021 edition, it appears to have additional pages and so I believed it was a new edition, rather a new printing of the previous. The 2023 printing claims to have 416 pages, but in fact it's exactly the same numbers of pages (400), with each chapter exactly the same as the 2021 printing. It is NOT a new edition if nothing but the copyright date has changed, sorry; it is a reprinting of an earlier edition. 5 stars for the book itself, but the publisher gets 2 stars taken off for the deceit.

I’m confident that by following the valuable advice the reader will gain an excellent understanding of the legal ramifications involved in trust administration. Many helpful hints and suggestions are presented throughout the book.I normally underline important topics in a book, but I was unable to do so this time, as the entire book is extremely valuable.Spend the money, you will not regret it. 👍
