The conditioner does smell like your grandma but it works so well to hydrate and encourage my natural curls. I do use it as more of a deep conditioner because I think it performs better that way. The slip is non existent so if you’re looking to detangle with this find something else! So I use a Vatika conditioner after the shampoo and the routine has been a staple for almost a year now and I am still on my first bottle. The shampoo smells wonderful and is very clarifying. After the first rinse, my hair still feels moisturized and retains the detangling I’ve already done. However, I always double wash and after the second rinse my hair is pretty tangled and stripped. But I think that’s to be expected; it’s a good clarifier that if you wash your hair at least once a week without heavy oils then you probably won’t need the second rinse.

Love this stuff!! LOVE it. I am super hard to please (that’s what he said 😝) because my hair has a tendency to get tangled when I wash it and I’m tender headed but this stuff was phenomenal. I’ve tried Patters -also great but this left my hair so soft and hydrated added some quench as a leave in and my hair never felt better. I’ve stopped using so many garbage products with sub par results. Get this and let me know if I was wrong. Also this is a good price, I have seen it a bit cheaper but pay attention to the bottle size.

I was so excited to try these products out but I will have to say the five stars is only for the shampoo only not the conditioner. The shampoo left my hair feeling cleaned and so soft however I noticed after I rinse out the conditioner my scalp was not happy it started itching, tingling and burning all at the same time. Eventually these sensations subsided but I will say this I won't be using the conditioner again apparently it is something in it that my scalp does not agree with. I don't know if this incident is an isolate one but I know for me I did not like the way my scalp felt when I use it.

this stuff is mf absolute HOLY GRAIL! not only does it smell good, but it leaves your hair feeling so clean and soft, it gives it a nice clean shine too, I have very oily hair and dandruff, and this shampoo and conditioner got rid of all of it.
