I do like this HP Envy laptop and the 2TB HDD, 64GB memory, 17.3" screen, Win 11 pro etc. The one I was sent is a 12th gen. i7-1255U. What I don't like is that it does not come with a DVD/CD drive. Also I have poor eyesight and the backlit keyboard is not very bright. Also the silver with white keys don't contrast well for me. I do like the high contrast options available in Windows Accessibility. I had to remove the McAfee Live Safe trial that came with it after just 2 weeks because the aggressive pop ups were too annoying, even with notifications turned off. It also came with a bonus 32GB USB card from the dealer, that I didn't find right away. It was taped to the front of the HP box inside a white credit card sized case, that is a little tricky to open. I would recommend this to friends as a real good all around PC.

I purchased this laptop as an upgrade on my 8 year old HP Envy which, after my upgrades, was an I5 16GB Ram, a 1TB SSD and a 500GB HD. This one is an I7 with 64gb ram and a 2 TB SSD. It runs a bit faster. The vendor, Snow Bell, promptly shipped the order and I received it within 24 hours with zero defects. I decided to do a clean install of all software and transfer data files. Except for remembering how OneDrive worked the software installation has gone without problem. My main use is family history research and repairing old photos. I've been very satisfied so far.

My previous Laptop was an HP Pavilion 32gb of ram. This Laptop is 64gb of ram. What a difference in speed. This Laptop is screaming fast. It boots extremely fast. If you are upgrading from a desktop or laptop I recommend using PCMover Professional. It will copy all your programs and files. Very little needs to be reinstalled. Huge time saver.

I needed to upgrade to Windows 11 for Adobe software, and the Dell I bought and had upgraded in 2018 wasn't compatible. I found this one as I was browsing, and it had everything I wanted for a really spectacular price. So far, it has been wonderful! It's beautiful and does everything that I want it to.
