New to me author that I am a big fan of! Small Town, Sweet, Steamy, and Swoony!
Stephanie Archer is a new to me author and I am so happy I found her! I just adored “In Your Dreams Holden Rhodes.” It was much steamier than I expected, and the hero and heroine were pure perfection. They knew each other as teens, and when Sadie inherits half of an Inn in the small town of Queen’s Cove, she is astonished to find the other half went to Holden. She wasn’t very close to her grandmother, but had fond memories of her at the Inn, but not so fond memories of Holden teasing and tormenting her.She is an interior decorator who was just swindled out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by her fraud of a fiancé and is anti-marriage for good reason. She trusted this man and he betrayed her, losing her new business venture in the process, and finds herself staying in Queens Cove assisting with the renovations, as she had nowhere else to go.I LOVED every conversation, interaction, and witty banter between these two. Holden is just my kind of man. He’s self-employed with his brothers in the family construction/contracting business, is outdoorsy, strong, and so honorable. He’s vulnerable too wanting love, but feeling it escapes him and sets a goal to be married with children in the near future. He was smitten with Sadie from their time together when she was just 16, and his feelings never faded, and he is amused by her proposition to help him find a wife.Oh this MAN! He is just so patient and tries so hard to get to know her and prove his worth. She is guarded for sure, and can’t help but trust him and look forward to their time together. They work on renovating the Inn, and he is in awe of her talent and wanting to do the physical labor too, and compliments her frequently. They complimented each other beautifully and I loved their love story and character growth.Page by page, she lets down her guard, and of course, is very attracted to this hot and handy man! They act on their passion rather quickly with her justifying they are just “friends with benefits” until she can go back to her real life in Toranto. She’s offered her dream job and things are looking up, but can she leave Holden? Leave Queen’s Cove and all the friends she made? She thought she was a city girl but comes to find she loves the tranquility of being in nature and the slower pace. And Holden, will she ever find a man who could love her more? He proves his love with his actions over and over and over, and I just about melted on every page. This book is so sweet and dirty at the same time. I loved their flirty banter and how they couldn’t keep their hands off each other, but that they enjoyed simple things together, too, like long hikes and watching TV. He prioritized work before, and she helped him relax and unwind. They got to know each other on a very deep level and I feel that is what made their relationship so much stronger.I loved the last few chapters as they were trying to figure out their future and couldn’t read fast enough. Just loved the ending and smiled the entire time. You don’t have to read the others, I started with book three and now plan to read the other two in this series. If you want a feel good romance with spice, laughs, and swoons, then read this book!

One Holden Rhodes sent to my house please.
This has to be one of the cutest and wholesome books I’ve read. I loved the dynamic between Holden and Sadie, and how they complimented each other so well, they fit like missing puzzle pieces. The twist hurt my heart, but it was so beautiful to see what people would do for the people they love, that’ll never fail to steal my heart. They heard each other so well. I relate to both characters so much, and I think this plays a factor of why I love this book even more.I can’t wait to read the last book in the series, the tension between Olivia and Finn is going to be so interesting to unfold.

In MY dreams, Holden Rhodes
4.25 stars - Holden is definitely my favorite Rhodes brother so far. (Let’s see what you’ve got Finn) I knew this broody, art lover was going to be a closet romantic and Stephanie did not disappoint. I thought the way Holden & Sadie entered into their agreement was awkward but once they started hanging out, the relationship they built was really organic. Also, the alien ‘toy’ had me lol’ing so many times.

oh Holden Rhodes
I adored this book. I absolutely love this series of the Rhodes brothers. This book’s main character is Holden Rhodes- he is a silent, broody, grumpy, workaholic. He owns a construction company in the small town of Queen’s Cove. He is always working overtime because he has the need to control everything. Recently, two of his brothers have found their bother gotten married, and he longs for it. He wants that connection, that intimacy, that person for him. He wants to find a wife. When Sadie Waters comes into town, the girl he had a huge crush on 15 years ago- he is taken aback. However, Sadie wants nothing to do with Holden because when they were younger, he was a jerk to her. Sadie is in town due to her aunts death, she is an interior designer from Toronto. This was supposed to be a quick visit to Queen’s Cove. She is struggling from a bad breakup, from her ex-fiancé who lied about his identity and stole 200,000 from her. In Sadie’s aunt Katherine’s will, she had left her life’s work- her Inn- to Sadie and Holden. They work together to fix up the Inn, and Sadie propositions Holden into helping him finding a wife in exchange to pay off her debt.
