Retro 51 Tornado vintage Metalsmith - Roosevelt

A great solid pen, which isn't actually as heavy as it looks (but the weight is perfect in my opinion). The build is superb - no play or wobbles in any of the fittings, just a super smooth twist action which instills confidence. The end of the ink cartridge retracts fully into the barrel so theres no danger of it getting on your clothes/bag when not in use. The finish on the Roosevelt is beautiful to look at and to hold. My only disappointment is with the supplied ink. When it works it lays down a very nice thick line, but its very scratchy and very often struggles to get going. I'll be swapping that out for something else anyway, so not a big issue. All in all, I am very happy with the quality of the pen and can highly recommend it.
