Great 3-axis gimbal, well built, and professional drone.
The HS600D is arguably the best drone I’ve owned. There is so much to this drone as it has many useful features. To begin with the drone comes in a great carrying case, and within the case you will find two batteries, your drone, remote, and many accessories. The drone itself has an inbuilt remote ID complying with FAA drone regulations. Having two batteries is a huge perk of buying this drone because each battery has 40 minutes of flight time advertised. Upon the first flight of my drone I was flying for around 20 minutes and was left with 50% battery which is what is advertised. The one key takeoff feature works flawlessly and the GPS positioning allows the drone to hover at a set altitude and position and not move. The return to home function works great and landed very close to the original takeoff point. The remote control itself is great it’s easy to use and is well built, the inbuilt screen is a nice touch as speed, altitude and more is displayed directly on it. My favorite feature about this drone is its 4K video/ 8K image camera. Equipped with a 3-axis gimbal and EIS technology the camera provides steady footage while flying around. The quality of the camera is outstanding and is a highlight of this amazing drone. The HS600D is an amazing drone, the technology on this drone is high quality and professional. I highly recommend buying this drone because it is great value for money. I can’t wait to keep flying this drone around and getting some amazing footage!

Holystone HS600D
This is my second drone. I upgraded to the HD600D after quite a bit of research and watching videos on YouTube. For the recreational use i wanted a drone for, I decided to go with it. First off let me say this thing is more than I was expecting. It comes in a very nice case with everything you need to get started. It arrived on a very windy day 30-40 mph winds with nothing but rain for the next several days. I couldn't wait to try it out, so despite my better judgment outside we went. This thing is a beast and hovered, flew, took great pictures/ videos despite the wind. It was surprisingly stable and I even went up to 200 feet. Im glad I decided to go with this model and can't wait for my adventures with it. Loving it so far!!

Easy to fly
I have played with a lot of tiny drones, you know the ones, really hard to fly, fly for like 10mins, recharge of battery 10 years, cats worst nightmare, and end up as paper weights. Compared to what I was used to trying to fly, I didn't have high expectations of a larger model being any better, despite all the positive reviews I read. To my surprise, this drone went above and beyond any of my expectations. This drone was very easy to fly, once I had all the batteries charged up. Lift off was smooth, even manually landing was easy (if you didn't want to use the return to home feature.) The follow me feature is semi creepy, but not in a bad way, but it kept its distance and followed me around our front yard. Speaking of the return to home, it is not dead on from where it took off, but It does come probably within a 6ft radius of lift off, not a deal breaker at all. The camera completely zoomed out gives a nice panoramic look, zooming in gets blurry. Yet for the price, I didn't expect to be able to count the whiskers on an animal from a far. The app was a little wonky at first to try and figure out. After some searching on the internet, I got the drone to sync to my phone. The up and down of the gimble wasn't working at first (yes, cover was removed) but after calibrating multi times, I got it to work. Here is my suggestion out of the box: Inspect the contents of packaging Plug in both batteries and controller Read the owners manual Download HS Fly app (QR in manual) Take your T.R.U.S.T test (Free) Register your drone with FAA ($5 for 3 years) Remove all clear protective tape over any and all optics and sensors Write you FAA registration number on your drone (I used blue painters tape and permanent marker) Power on your charged controller Insert fully charged battery in drone. Power on drone. Wait for lights and beeping to stop (Controller and drone synced) Go to wifi settings on your phone Look for your model of drone Click on it to connect (You will disconnect from your wifi) It will say connected no internet Now open HS Fly app Click on controls tab Follow the brief instructions or skip Calibrate the compass/GPS Calibrate the gimble (follow instructions in manual) Have fun! Lastly, the carrying case is very durable and you won't have any worry about your drone ever getting damaged.

Great flying experience.
Great quality drone. The battery lasts about 34 minutes of flight time. I flown this drone a lot and really enjoy it. The drone camera quality is amazing and is very clear. The drone came with a high quality controller with a good carrying bag. The drone is very easy to fly with automatic landing and takeoff. The drone has a lot of different modes to choose from like follow me, vr, and much more. This drone is for anyone looking for a good drone at a low price.

This drone works well in windy conditions.
This is the first drone that I have flown so my knowledge of Drones is very limited. The drone is pretty easy to control for the most part. I am still learning to operate it and some time get the drone headed in the wrong direction which makes the controls seem to work in the opposite direction. The pictures and video are very good and the zoom works well. The only problem I have had with it is sometimes the gimble works and sometimes it does not. This is probably operator error and I will figure it out in the next flew flights. I live in South Texas where the wind always blows. Today when I flow it the wind speed was 17mph with gust to 22mph. The drone worked well as I flew it over my paster and viewed my cows and my water troughs. I flew it out to a distance of 1000 feet (it was very visible at that distance) and it retuned home well. As I learn to operate it better I will be flying it out to about 4000 feet to check water troughs, cows and predator surveillance. I would like to check my fences with it but that will take a lot of fly time to learn to fly it close enough to the fence to be able to see a broken wire. As for now I am happy with the performance of the drone and I think it will save me time from having to drive out and check on these items, Holly Stone's customer service has been great as I have called them several times with questions about setup and operation of the drone. They have always been very friendly and helpful. The price and quality of the drone is great for my needs and my first drone.

flys ok sometimes but not a great drone
I have been trying different drones in search of one with a solid clear camera, stable flight characteristics, and reasonable price. While this was the best holy stone drone, overall it’s still poor and not worth the cost compared to DJI. Compared to the holy stone 360s, it’s quite abut larger in size - I’d say nearly double. Flown in light to slack air, I had an almost unacceptable amount of drift, really the drones only weak point. The controller is exactly the same as the 360. I appreciate that the controller is rechargeable. The battery is scaled up from the 360/720g to match the drones larger size. I got over 25 mins of flight, and it was about 35 degrees outside - cold definitely hurts batteries. The camera is clear, but lacks any real digital zoom. There’s an option in the app, but it didn’t change anything. There’s a substantial delay and loss of real time video feed when taking a photo, about 10 seconds, a long time when flying. I wish the camera of the 720g drone came available on this bigger and seemingly more stable hs 600. O well, the other short falling, the carrying case is set up vertically which makes it difficult to keep organized. This drone keeps a flight log and this could come in handy for recovery if the drone ever got lost! I had no several issues with connectivity in my 25min flight. The controller seems to lose connection to the phone and I had to give permission for it to reconnect with hovering. Of the three holy stone drones I’ve tried, this one has been the most stable during flight and while it is more expensive than the 360 and lacks the better camera and zoom of the 720g, it’s the best of the three I received. However, it may have been luck of the draw and there may be a serious quality control issue in general at hs, since both the 360 and 720g I purchased had clear factory defects that made them unsuitable for use. Compared to another brand like DJI,this drone is poor and not worth the money.

Great Drone and Great Value
I’ve never flown or set up a drone before. This one was so easy. For the money it has great features and value. I started in beginner mode but quickly exited and it had great stability and responsiveness. After I connected it the first time, it was very easy maintain connectivity. I was surprised how clear the camera is and with the gimbal the camera was easily controlled without moving the drone. When it returned home, it landed very close to takeoff location but not exactly. I wish the batteries lasted longer or you could purchase an extended time battery. I will be using the drone for my YouTube Channel DunbarLand Farms where I highlight my projects with my Bobcat Skidsteer and Kabota Tractor.

A great upgrade for my five year old drone
A great deal on the upgrade and better features than my 2019 drone. I had thought the pictures from the old drone looked good and this is nearly four times the image resolution with multiple stabilizations, the pictures look great so far. It's got a narrower field of view than the old drone but it probably doesn't matter, for one thing it will automatically take a 360 degree view without the obvious barrel distorton I got from the old drone anyway, plus it has a zoom that reduces the field of view anyway. First flight was a little difficult but probably because it starts in "beginner" mode and has restricted range, including height plus it seemed to be experiencing a little drift from wind force. Even so, on first flight a friend and I were considering his rooftop ham radio antennas when we are both not practically able to stand on the roof, friends had helped get the antennas there. So, he and I had this drone fly up to a rooftop standing position while we stayed on the ground, viewed live and took pictures, confirming the antenna with the most wind force applied is solidly mounted from his personal "viewpoint". We got good results as well as recognized I had a lot to learn flying a new aircraft and have a new set of controls in what's a new app to me. Second flight was much better, about an hour before a nice sunset. I disabled "beginner" mode making it possible to get higher than nearby obstacles and feel better about flying in any direction less evidence of wind drift so spent more time flying and felt in more control. Photos are from second flight. Camera images have better detail in medium field objects (ike the rooftop solar panel pictures, some were taken while using the orbit a location feature, i.e. 16 foot orbit near my home taking a shot whenever I liked the view and at varying height and zoom levels). Short field (selfie) has more blur, probably because shake has a broader effect on the close object and perhaps from zoom level. Far field shots seemed a bit blurry (blurry when looking into sun isn't a fair criticism and looking away from sunset is better detailed but both views are still nice pictures from a great alternative persective from ground shots). In fairness about which field has best shots, it is documented that the lens is fixed focus and I'm not surprised it favors medium field shots since a drone is kind of handy to go look at objects more than to look at scenes. The GPS follow-me mode could be a bit of fun. I have enjoyed photography for decades and when I first flew a drone of my own I was really thrilled by the alternative viewpoint from taking pictures only where I can reach on foot. Looking at the image from the drone camera (even stills after use) it feels like being in-position on the drone to me. Back n 2020 using my 2019 drone doing my own home roof review after installing solar was a good feeling and I didn't need to use a ladder. Well this drone has about four times the picture resolution of that 2019 drone fun, image stabiization and many more options. One of the most basic but best personal reasons for the new purchase was that my giant screen cellphone now fits in the grip on the remote flight controlller but was too wide for the grip on the controller of my 2019 drone. I'm already dreaming compositions including more of the local mountains from the air rather than the ground, the forest view in fall from the air will be nice. I didn't get bad shots from a handheld camera on the ground but a drone adds an extra perspective for photography composition that I've really found worth having. It's more than just flying for me.
