This has helped me sleep better and cut down on the amount of pills I have to take. It has both valerian root and melatonin, so I don’t have to take them separately. The tryptophan is a plus, this is an ingredient naturally found in turkey and pistachios that makes you sleepy.

Works for me
I use occasionally when I think I might need something to help me fall asleep, usually when I have a lot on my mind. Take about 30 minutes before bed and focus on a calm scene as best you can. Helps to fall asleep a little faster and not as likely to wake up unnecessarily in the middle of the night. Advil PM works better but not something you should take with any regularity and can make you slightly groggy in the morning.

Did not help sleep at all
I have taken the regular Alteril capsules and they seemed to help with sleep. These “fast acting” Alteril, did not work for me at all. No effect.
