I REALLY love these pants. I expected them to run a little small so I ended up buying a bigger size. They ended up being a little larger on me, so if you buy these, make sure to purchase your exact size as they are true to size. They are super comfortable and I love that they have zip off legs! I'm able to wear them as shorts on warmer days..... the other day I was wearing them as shorts inside the house and decided I needed to run to the store, but the temperature had dropped the night before, so it was actually a little chilly outside for shorts, so I zipped on the legs and went to the store and was very comfortable walking in the chiller weather. Once I got home, I unzipped the legs again and wore them as shorts inside the house. I wish I had a few more pairs of these in different colors!! The waist band is very comfortable too and does not cut into your waist. They do have a draw string so even if they are a bit larger, you can cinch them tighter around the waist.

These are very soft and comfortable. They are breathable and also appropriately fast drying, but I wouldn’t purposely get wet in these pants. When you zip the legs off the shorts still have a bit of length, which I enjoy because I hate the feeling of my thighs rubbing together when I’m hot and sweaty, and these are the type of pants to wear somewhere hot and sweaty. The shorts are flattering with the legs zipped off, which is more than I can say for my other camping shorts.I like that the front pockets zip closed. I wish the back pockets did too. The side pockets velcro in the very middle and while it’s not the best velcro coverage to seal the pocket, it is strong. The pockets all have a decent depth, too. I am very short and i have issues with pants, especially joggers, gathering around my ankles. These have the slightest little bit but it’s not noticeable. They probably would be a little short for taller people though.
