The gnats are attracted to the light, but the light isn’t strong enough to be seen with sunlight pouring in from windows. If you have lots of gnats the sticky traps will fill up fast so be sure to get plenty of refills.

Bought these for use in the camper for some tiny bug and mosquitoes. Works great. I tried it at home for fruit flies and they ignored it. I even put a piece of fruit very close and no other fruit or food in the kitchen, and the fruit flies ignored it, so had to give it a 4 based on that.
