Works for my front door/wall
We just installed this and so far it is serving its purpose, protecting my wall from the front door banging against it. Installation was easy.

Looks good. Works fine.
Mount is pressed out of thin stainless steel. May cut into wall board if door happens to be slammed into it.Make sure the wall anchor is the right one for dry wall. Should work fine for other materials.Inexpensive.Recommended with reservations.
