Excellent book to teach the essential information for keeping a horse my 5 year old loves it

Lovely size book with lovely photos. Great for young learners. Fun book that they will want to pick up and learn. Well presented information made fun.

For a secondhand book the pages are good, and the cover is in good condition, it was an ex-library book and looks like it had hardly been read. There was a delay in the delivery time, due to a holiday in the USA, where it came from, it arrived five days after the delivery period stated.Very happy would buy from this supplier again

Bought this for my daughter as a gift. She is 4 and completely horse mad. She loves this book and the real life pictures are great

My grandson got this for his 7th birthday, immediately sat down and started reading it. I was pleased to see the pictures included boys as well as girls..

Issues with first book. But second time a lovely book. It is an American book so if used for worksheets then spelling need checking but the body parts are the same in in any language. 😎

Great photos and easy steps to follow for the first time rider. Gives good basic tips. Could have had a bit more information.

My daughter is 5, has recently started riding, and LOVES this book! It has great pictures, plenty of information, and is succinct enough to keep her attention. She "reads" it on her own, and asks us to read it regularly. I am not in 100% agreement with all of the information (it's the horse world.. there's ALWAYS differing opinions on how best to do things) but it is good enough for a new rider!

5 year old daughter loves this book - a great amount of information about horses in a way that is easy for a young child to digest.

My niece is going on 5 and she is big into horses and ponies. She takes riding lessons and is learning all about the gear and care of the animals. This book has really sparked her desire to learn how to read faster.

Great pictures of people actually grooming, riding, feeding etc along with the tools/supplies that are needed. I have had horses for 25 years and bought this for the neighbor girl who just got a pony and has no clue about horses. I think it will be very helpful for her.
