My Kalimba arrived quickly and it was packed well in a very nice looking box, perfect for a gift presentation. I was awe struck! The beauty of this Kalimba was amazing. It was well built and the craftsmanship was so good that I decided to display it on a stand in my living room. The sound of this instrument is as amazing as it looks. It plays with such a beautiful sound, crisp and clear. This was probably one of the most impressive purchases I have made in a long time. Great craftsmanship, beauty, and sound for such a low price. I love it!

I picked this up for my daughter as a fun side instrument for a simple tune every now and then. The blue gives it a nice appearance, but the entire thing is decently crafted anyway. The tones are clear and correct. The accessories are a plus and did make it more enjoyable for especially the first few uses. It is very easy to play and the booklet offers a few easy tunes.

I did not know what to expect with this as a teen white elephant gift. However all the teens knew exactly what it was as soon as it was opened. Very easy to make a melody on and sound quality was great with provided thumb pads. Maybe challenging for larger fingers to hit each key but was fun either way. Would buy again and maybe even try the one with top and bottom keys.Fun and entertaining gift to give any music lover or teen.

Sounds nice, but very light weight feeling if that’s something important to you.

Not quite as pretty of a tone as others

I bought this for a friend's kid, who is also studying piano. The product came in a box with all of the extra items listed put away securely. The kalimba itself, which I tested, has easy to denote keys and numbers, so a young student can look up tabs online. It resonates quite loudly and is perfect for someone to have as a gift, to learn to play, and I suggest the heck out of this thing. I know the kid is going to love it!

Was a nice surprise. Buy the learners book also. Very pretty sound. This one came with thumb guards, a good idea for frequent playing
