Scan docs into multipage or single page PDF/JPEG formats + Great print quality
Main reason I bought this printer was to be compatible with Windows 10 that my old printer was not and I also wanted to be able to scan in a bunch of old docs from my file drawer to keep digital copies of the documents & clean out the filing cabinet of all of the piles of papers. The machine has excellent scan quality either by top tray loading several pages at once, single pages at a time, or by scanning a doc on the glass screen. You can do multi-page PDF/JPG format scanning or single page...the machine will ask you on the screen if it senses there are no more documents in the feeder if you have any more docs you'd like to include in that particular scan. Very intuitive to use. Also, was very quick to get hooked up to wifi so I can wirelessly print and when I make a scan to my USB drive that is plugged in the printer, I don't even have to unplug the USB drive and plug it into my computer. I can actually access what scans are on the USB drive plugged into the printer WIRELESSLY from my computer and I can move files from that USB drive that's still in my printer over to a different folder on my actual computer. Super convenient!! Ink cartridges last much longer with this unit than with my old HP printer and cost significantly less when finally time to replace them when you use a 3rd party vendor. I've had no printer jams yet, and print quality has been great! We will be keeping this printer awhile! Love everything it has done for us already!

Don't let the bad reviews sway you!
You know, it's funny: if you're like me, you've searched around Amazon for an hour looking for the next printer...and on every single printer you find, it has about 60% 5-star reviews, and 40% 1-star reviews. Statistically, *every* printer you look at on Amazon could be magical or could be a bust! I looked closely at the reviews on this printer and, based on what our needs are as a business, went with this one based on a gut feeling (and past positive experiences with Epson printers).I'm glad I did. This thing is AWESOME.First of all, you should know that it is a BIG printer. When we unboxed it, we were surprised at the size — but in our case, that's a good thing. It's sturdy, and can handle printing large sheets (which is important to us as a creative agency — we use this feature regularly). The touchscreen is very responsive and well-designed, and initial set up of the printer was a breeze. We simply followed the instructions given in the packaging and we had the thing up and running (with both Windows and Mac machines) in about 10 minutes, with everybody in the office able to print, scan, and copy their hearts out with no problems whatsoever.Overall, if you're on the fence and just not sure if you should pull the trigger, I can assure you: you're making the right call by going with this printer. You won't be disappointed. :)

A nice replacement for a perfectly good printer
So with the last update to Windows 10, my perfectly good working printer was deemed obsolete. The search began for new printer. I decided on this one as it is wireless connection and also has wide format printing. I like to print out my own art work to hang in my home so the wide format hooked me. Only real problem was getting the printer into the house and out of the box. I am old and not so strong anymore. It was heavy for me. Even the box itself was heavy. It was very well packed and survived making it to my home which is at the end of the line for shippers. It spent a long day in the delivery truck traveling on rough country roads. The only other problem was setting up the WiFi connection. I had to enter the info myself. That turned out to be easy too. I have made a few prints. Have to check the settings to avoid stripes showing in the prints. No big deal though. Just a matter of getting the correct settings. All in all a very nice printer for the price. Cannot speak to ink usage as I have not printed much to date. I like the touch screen. Easy to use. Hope it keeps working until Windows 10 decides it too is obsolete.

Save Yourself the Headache
Please read prior to purchasing so you don't end up in the same boat as I -I needed a reliable printer for my home office. One that will print and/or scan packets of documents of 30-100 pgs each. Trusting the good reviews and being fulfilled through Amazon, I settled on this purchase.I should have known this purchase was cursed when I checked my mailbox and found a "delivery attempt" card from the USPS for the printer. How can an attempt be made when several people were home that day and doorbell never rang?I went to the local post office the following business day to pick up the printer. The post office employee came out and literally handed me this HUGE and HEAVY box on a dolly. No assistance. I had to push this thing out to my car and struggled to load into my car until a friendly bystander came over to my car to assist me.It dawned on me then...this thing was so heavy that the mailman probably didn't even try to deliver it on purpose.Nonetheless, I drove home and somehow got that huge box into my home and upstairs to my home office. Unboxed it...can I tell you this printer is ridiculously huge for no real reason?!! Technology has made far too many advancements for printers to still be the size of the old school Xerox copiers. Finding a place for the beast to sit was a challenge and it took up a lot of space in my already small/cramped home office.Setting it up was somewhat easy, but the initial firmware updates (one after another) were a pain. They took forever. Once I was fully set up and ready to print/scan, things went smoothly for about a week. And then the paper feed for the scanner begin jamming and misfeeding. Documents would feed crooked and then jam . I called Epson for troubleshooting. Good luck with that! Then tried Amazon chat. Did all the basic troubleshooting steps over and over to no avail. For $150 I expect the thing to work and if it's jamming up already, this thing needs to go back. And this is where the headache got even bigger...I called Amazon to return. They initially said I had to physically drop the beast off myself at a local UPS location. Nope. It's too big. I've already wasted time and money. I'm not struggling with this big monster printer again. After reminding customer service that this was a defective product and not a scenario where I simply changed my mind about a purchase, the rep emailed me a UPS shipping label and said a UPS driver would be there to pick it up the following day.I'm upstairs in my office the next day and see a UPS truck pull up, driver drops off a shipping label and dashes to his truck before I could even make it out my front door. As he takes off, I call UPS and was told I had to pay $15 for a pickup. After three more days of going back and forth with Amazon and UPS, I am happy to say the printer has finally been picked up - however, this whole process was an unnecessary headache.I ended up having to purchase another all in one printer in the meantime. I bought an HP from Target and setup was a breeze. This new printer actually scans documents without jamming and isn't the size of that obnoxious dinosaur Epson junk I purchased from Amazon.
