Routes at 1G
I was using the MikroTik CRS125 Cloud Router as my core router for my business. Worked great when switching between devices on the same IP subnet. However, when it came to routing between subnets, I was only getting about 250mbps. Upgraded my Internet service from 50mbps to 150mbps, but didn't see a difference on the inside of the NAT server. When I did a throughput test from the outside to the inside, the CPU went to 100%.Bought this router to act as the core router and I'm using the CRS125 as the 1G switch. Works great. Using the RB1100 for routing between subnets, providing VLAN trunks to other switches, VPN termination, and NAT server for the office. Works great. Used my network analysis gear to verify that I'm getting 1G routing between subnets.

Works with telephone company central office power -48vDC
We needed a -48vDC powered model of this router and for so long they didn't make one. Although we would have preferred one with at least a couple SFP cages, this model really does work with telephone company central office DC power and works well!

Excellent value.
Doing great so far - using it as the border gateway for a 1Gbps fiber circuit. I seem to be reaching its limits with ~25 simple queues and ~50 firewall rules, but that is to be expected for this price.

We've purchased close to 100 Mikrotik products and most of them work right out of the box. I think I've had 2-3 DOAs, and the one's that I've purchased are still in the field or been upgraded to a more robust Mikrotik device

Nice when it worked
Worked for about a month and, of course, chose to die a few days after the return window closed. Could be this unit is a lemon but the way it clicked when rebooting suggests a relay failure (and all units from this model will have that relay) as it no longer clicks when rebooting and ports are dead. My suggestion: try a different model.

Good functionality, rought edges on delivery
Works good.It was no headers soldered on the mainboard for the drives, so you can not extend the memory.SD card did not work at all.
