What s great cordless drill
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. What s great cordless drill! Were compact and lightweight with a great set of starter screw bits and drill bits. The case is not bulky and feels very solid. The drill... the one that can do it all! Hammer action was surprisingly good for cordless but being 18 V was exceeded my expectations. The 2 batteries is very handy of which have a power level indicator... so no more knowing the drill will die as you’re drilling or screwing. The light illuminates very well. The numerous tongue settings just adds to an excellent drill... think I won’t be using my old cordless drill again! Oh and the belt holder clip... a great idea that makes diy even more DIY.

Really nice quality and quite good value for money
This is a gamble that paid off.For a start the drill is relatively cheap - this is what initially attracted me as you get two batteries and a starter drill set to get you going. The drill itself is quite compact and comfortable to hold, even on the hammer setting.I found the little LED that sits under the chuck useful for dark corners too and this engages when you press the power button to drill.I was a little skeptical about the hammer drills power but once it effortlessly pushed through a tough brick wall, I was happy! The idea of having two batteries is great as you can have an uninterrupted working session - just quickly swap the batteries out and pop the other one on charge. It feels well made and the performance so far is good - for the occasional DIY'er like myself, this is more than adequate.

Works very well good value for money
This drill/driver arrived as advised and in packaging that had very little room left, which is unusual for Amazon (normally packed in a box you could fit it in several times over). I cannot review all the components that came with it as I haven't had time to use them. I found the drill was comfortable to hold and not of great weight (my old drill became tiring after a few minutes use). There are a couple of issues, the mode ring selector (hammer through screw) was very stiff to operate, but will I'm sure with time and use will loosen off. The other slight problem is the belt holder that you screw to the drill which is a good idea having it readily to hand. However if you do employ it then closing the case it arrives in becomes difficult as it catches on the lid as it closes. The batteries and charger are simple to use and is surprisingly quick to complete a full charge. I am more than please with this drill at the moment, but time will tell if it is worth the money and my praise, I'm sure it will be.UPDATE the drill is working well and I am especially pleased with the battery life, one battery lasting all day on a fairly high use job.The only fault is with the case fastenings as they break fairly easily. This is a cheap bad design fault however, I still recommend the drill a pure little work horse.

Excellent starter drill kit for small jobs around the house
I have been pleased with this cordless drill so far. The item came packaged well and feels build to last. This is further emphasised by the 24 month warranty provided with the product.I have been after a cordless drill for some time to do little jobs around the house as I often have to borrow one from friends and family which delays jobs (wife is not happy). I liked the look of this drill as it has pretty much everything i needed, e.g. drill and driver bits, to get started. The drill set comes with an extra cordless battery which is a great bonus as it saves you having to wait around to recharge your primary battery. It also has a hammer function so is usable on a lot more surfaces than other cordless drills. So far I have used it to replace some door handles and have enjoyed using the screwdriver function which made the job so much easier and quicker.Time will tell how good this cordless drill is but for the time being I am pleased with this purchase.

It's great value for money!
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with the Tacklife cordless drill. At the price I expected something very basic, lightweight and not suitable for much more than basic DIY. However what I received is actually quite substantial. The drill comes with an additional battery, an extension for hard to reach areas, drill bits and screwdriver heads a hardshell carry case and a charger. All of which are remarkably well made for the price.I honestly feel like Tacklife could be charging a bit more for this drill and it would still be a good price. The drill bits are better quality than the makita drill bits I previously bought and are harder wearing.Factoring in the price point, build and quality and performance. It's a really good drill and much better than expected. The drill is a good weight and the power is impressive. There

A chuck short of a real gem.
I have a LOT of tacklife tools and at this price point i really rate them and continue to go to tacklife as a brand when looking for my next tool.I haven't seen any other comments on the chuck so potentially it is just that mine is not a shining example however the chuck has a bit of a fundamental floor, well mine certainly does, in that I just can't torque it down as much as I'd like and it struggles to get a decent purchase on the bit.The real problem then lies in just how beefy the brake is in the motor, lots and lots of rotational force in the brake combined with the softer chuck means that once you've taken your finger off the trigger a couple of times the chuck has loosened right off, your bit is on the floor or you're reaching out to catch a spinning 90mm holesaw to stop it from landing on your work at the cost of the skin on your fingers. The drill is well put together, the motor has plenty of twist in it and for the cost versus 2 decent batteries a host of accessories and a sturdy unit I would reccomend it with a few words of warning regarding sending drill bits into the stratosphere.
