I've had multiple knee surgeries and like most folks the toilet can be a challenge with limited range of motion, pain and angles at which we have to shift to do the necessary. The wall on one side of my toilet has a door that slides into it, so it could not have a handicap rail installed. I got the raised toilet seat and saw this device that provides rails on both sides, requires no permanent installation, is adjustable and stabilized.The weight capacity was also comforting for a larger person. My grandson put it on in minutes. All the adjustable components allow you to customize the fit. Even after I remove the lifted seat I may leave this on as I have balance and dizziness issues. It would be great for seniors who may be weak or have tendencies to lose their balance or fall, not just post op patients. I feel safe using it with no one near and it is just what I needed. It is WORTH it!

We chose these toilet safety rails for a skirted toilets. We bought two and adjusted them for my husband’s use. I have been able to remove the safety rails, clean as necessary, and put them back on with no fuss. The rails are adjustable and the arm rests move as well.

The media could not be loaded.  Sturdy, but needs additional support for the arms. We had to drill a hole & put a pin w/wire lock (from Tractor Supply) to keep the arms from falling down. Still worth the money, just glad husband is able to remedy the issue without anyone getting hurt. (Arm fell minimum of 4 times no matter how tight you tighten the screw knob). I like that it fit in a tight place, it is free standing, and it is heavy. I cannot understand why the frame had pre-drilled holes on the arm piece, but no way to secure the arm at a specific height other than drill a hole through the frame with the arm in frame at your desired height and put a pin in place such as we did. I would buy again, but mfg needs to remedy this problem for the consumer.

This is an item that I would normally not consider. But since my spouse just had his leg amputated I found that this was a necessity. It came very fast and was extremely easy to install. It has height and width adjustments so it should fit most any toilet. It is very sturdy if you need help getting up from the toilet as well. Not an item I had hope to purchase but glad Amazon had it to ship.

This is a sturdy product. I’m a big guy and this doesn’t hesitate to hold me while using.
