Waterproof Outdoor Project ABS Plastic Junction Box IP67 Weatherproof Dustproof Enclosure with Hinged Cover, Mounting Plate,Wall Brackets for Power Project (8.7"X6.7"X4.5")

Perfect size! Nailed it 100% The buid quality is amazing. Built to last. Well it was waterproof but my project involved cutting and drilling some holes into the side. See images. I have a small camp external battery that is weather resistant. But I didn't like the idea of rain getting places it didn't really belong. So I used this box to install with amazing ease after I removed the handle and rubber padding from the battery first. Then installed the handle of the batter to the back of the box with the metal adapters included with the box and now have a portable more riggesized already rugged camp battery protected even more by this awesome project box. To make my project function as close to normal I made openings to allow 3 USB plugs and a 12vlt input and one 12volt output hole so I can connect what I need. I then used clear packing tape to form drip rails around the openings I made. The box will not be exposed directly to rain or weather as it is meant to sit in front of the Bluetooth speaker I tow behind my wheelchair. See image for the size. The area in front covers the box with a slide up fabric audio transparent door and plastic corrugated cardboard over the top and sides along with vinyl flooring used as sides as well as the floor under the box. The box functions perfectly with its easy to use D flip clip locks. The wires will exit out of the box with about 3 inches to the connection points on the battery. The wires will all slope downwards so any water that sneaks in will not follow them into the box and battery. The fitment of the battery is so snug it holds itself inside the box and you need to actively pull it out. Like I said a perfect fit. The box will be gently squeezed into place thank to the flexible nature of vinyl flooring that is the front lower wall of the enclosed space. Totally recommend this box for projects. There is a great chance I might be getting more of these later.

I needed a waterproof outdoor enclosure for a small timer to control outdoor floodlights that keep getting forgotten on longer than the needed 5 minutes, so timer is set to 15 minutes. This was the smallest box of several offered, but I have use for their larger ones too. 4 waterproof cord connectors were provided, and accept full size extension cord power cords (see pics). has a great door gasket, and 2 easy to open positive snap latches. This enclosure was economical, and comes with a base plate to mount components inside (I removed mine). I will buy these again!

If you order this box make sure you have the correct size drill bits for the bulkhead connectors, 5/8" and/or 3/4" as you will need to drill at least one hole to pass your cable through! I used my waterproof box to mount 2- 5-pin relays, fuse, both ground & power terminal blocks to control the tilt & trim motor on a 40 hp outboard motor. It turned out well, no more corrosion or damage to relays caused by salt water, rain, or humidity! Well worth the price, plus it locks down tightly with a couple clicks!

The quality here is good. The extra parts and the backplate are a nice addition. I have used several outside in the Texas sun and they are holding up ok after a full year. Don't have the deterioration of fiberglass or cheaper plastic, although they are a little discolored. I like the metal latches better than the plastic ones on other cheap brands. These are not premium enclosures but they are 1/4 the cost. I continue to buy for new assemblies.

Nice waterproof box. Although the size says it’s 5.9” x 5.9” that is the external size. The interior is slightly tapered so the bottom of the box you only have about 5.1” x 5.1” to mount your project in.

Worked great for the outdoor project I was doing. Very well made and not too big or too small

perfect for what I needed. Latches are sturdy and keep door securely closed. Haven't seen any moisture get inside the cabinet.

Easy to drill, nice design. I like it. Built a LiFePO4 battery discharge limiter in it. Mine has a clear lid to see the voltage settings.

I'm using this as a waterproof junction box on my ATV. Nice gasket and good latches. Cheaper for this purpose than a Pelican box and comes with the waterproof connections and a mounting plate inside for components. Good anywhere you need a waterproof enclosure!
