Ken Follett’s I Pilastri Della Terra - Xbox One

Have played a few other games from the developer, Deadalic, but nothing as good. The game has great music that seems to have been performed by a orchestra in Prague; going by the credits. The graphics are detailed and beautiful, fit perfectly with the story it's telling, as you can expect from the developer Deadalic. The voice acting is perfect and the controls work great for this type of game. The puzzles are well thought out and logical, add to the story. Choices made in the game change the story, such as allowing one of the main characters to die will then have that character's role being taken over by a secondary character with a different story and dialog.There's about 18 hours of game play if you're rushing through but I suggest you don't rush and explore the world. The game is broken up into 3 "books" - which are based on The Pillars of the Earth books. Platinum isn't terribly hard to get if you play using a walkthrough.There are no gun battles, jokes or absurd premises. What you will find is a game based on a historical set of novels that's done an amazing job bringing to life a great story. More please Deadalic.

Good game

A decent adventure with nicely handled character switching and convergent storylines. Looks good, in a mid-1980s Disney sort of way, and its game mechanisms work fine. The problem is it feels constrained and doesn't really draw me in, especially given the mix of historical detail, viscerality and purpose on a grand scale of Ken Follet's wonderful novel.

Loved the book, loved the tv adaptation & this game is fantastic, visually stunning. I only wish it could have lasted longer, manager to finish it too fast.

Game itself was good it took almost a month to arrive on 2 day shipping after issues I managed to beat the game in 2 hours. It was to easy and was not even a challenge. I'd recommend this to people who just pass the time with gaming and not are active gamers as it was way to easy. At least for me it was.

Ich liebe Adventure Games und das Buch "Die Säulen der Erde" fand ich absolut fesselnd. Nun gibt dieses Game zwar nicht 100% genau den Inhalt des Buches wieder, fasst es aber äußerst ansprechend zusammen. Wer den Stil von Deadalic mag, wird auch dieses Game mögen.Für alle, die noch keine Erfahrung mit Spielen aus dem Hause Deadalic haben: was besseres findet man unter Adventures nicht. Der Grafik-Stil ist einzigartig und entführt einen in viele liebevoll gestaltete Szenen. Die Synchronisation ist sehr gut, die Stimmen sehr authentisch. Man hat viel Spass beim rätseln und kann viele Trophäen dafür bekommen.

Il primo capitolo è già uscito ad agosto 2017, il secondo uscirà a fine gennaio 2018, il terzo chissà.Tratto dal libro di Ken Follett, che per ignoranza e per mia fortuna non ho letto e questo forse mi salverà da spoilerate assassine.E' un'avventura grafica alla vecchia maniera con pochissimi enigmi (anzi, che dico: nessuno!), più che altro si segue la storia e si scelgono le risposte ai dialoghi, non è così intellettualmente impegnativo...La grafica è cartoon: scenari ben dipinti e character design essenziale, anche le animazioni sono essenziali ma direi che se una persona sta cercando una storia semplice, tranquilla, da giocarsi nel tempo libero, va più che bene.Personalmente atmosfera medievale e le ambientazioni non mi dispiacciono, i personaggi sono ben raccontati, l'intreccio è ben costruito, il ritmo non è che sia molto incalzante ma non mi ha nemmeno annoiato come altre più blasonate avventure grafiche. Il suo punto forte è il piacere di scoprire cosa accadrà.Se siete amanti delle avventure grafiche dovere per forza giocarlo, solo sappiate che, come per tutte le ultime avventure grafiche, esce a capitoli (tre) e ci sarà da aspettare per il finale.AGGIORNAMENTO: il terzo e ultimo Book è disponibile dal 30 marzo 2018. Ora il gioco è completo!
