works
The valve is completely plastic. Normally, I wouldn't say that's a good thing but in my case spraying bleach and pesticides it is. The expensive metal one i have is corroded solid every time i go to use it and i clean it well after every use. This one comes apart easily. I take it apart after every use and rinse the bits. It was cheaper to buy this whole wand than replacing the parts on my expensive one. This one had an extra long snout and it didn't leak a drop. My metal one has all new lubed up O rings and leaks poison and nasty chemicals all over my hands still. The length of this wand is a big plus for getting down low and overhead.

Hose clamps are crap
The wand itself is good but neither of the two included hose clamps would work. Would not screw in or out. Luckily I had one of my own on hand..... you should too.

Great sprayer!
I am very happy with my new spray wand! I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I ordered it. I have a 15 gallon tank on the back of my riding lawn mower and this replacement spray wand works great! Long shooting range also! I drive along with my mower and spray all my fence lines. Once again I'm very happy with this new spray wand.

It’s shorter than expected
Quality looks to be good with a sturdy stainless steel.. but it’s not 36”. It’s 27”: within the industry, wands are measure only by the wand itself, not the handle or trigger.. so the stainless steel wand is 27”, and the trigger & nipple together are 8” so it’s 35” total tip to tip.. hope this helps someone..

ABSOLUTE JUNK lasted 45 days
Bought December 20, 2023. Only used twice and just 45 days after purchase the so called "stainless steel" wand had multiple pinholes in the metal making it completely useless. The original brass wand on the sprayer lasted over 10 years -- this junk lasted 45 days. Total waste of money.

Sturdy Metal Replacement for a Plastic Wand
I have a two gallon bottle sprayer for my garden and fruit trees, and recently the plastic wand that came with the sprayer has been getting clogged quite a bit. I have taken it apart and cleaned it several times, but it stll gets clogged. So, I decided to replace it. I got this wand and was very impressed with the sturdiness of the product. I like the idea of a metal wand more than a plastic one anyway just from the durability angle. I found the trigger lock a little strange in its configuration, but figured out how it was most easily manipulated in pretty short order. The wand is really two in one. By that, I mean that it is literally two wands that connect together to make one wand. You can use the shorter one by itself, or you can remove it from the handle, install the long extension, and then connect the short wand back on top of the extension to make the longer wand. This may sound a bit labor-intensive, but I think that from a leak-prevention standpoint it is probably the best possible design short of having two completely separate wands. The item also includes hose clamps and barbed attachments ot hook the wand to an existing sprayer hose. The only issue I had was that this particular wand did not fit my application perfectly and will require an adapter to make it work. However, I believe that once I get the adapter installed all will work fine, and I am excited to use this new wand and leave the clogs behind!

Perfect upgrade
Jacto wanted $40-60 for replacement wand. (Mine got ripped from the tube by the wheel when it dangled off of the side of the trailer)This thing plugged right into the tube end and it a touch longer. (Closer to the item being sprayed)Perfect.
