The little pack that could!This little unit is a life-saver! it's smaller than a set of jumper cables, and easily hides under the back seat of my truck in the little cubby under the seat! I charged it up per the instructions when I received it, and then it sat in my truck for 6 months before I had to use it. Low and behold, it worked PERFECTLY even after sitting that long, I had a coworker struggling with dead Jeep after work. I whipped this puppy out and hooked it up to her battery, within seconds the light on the unit turned green and the Jeep fired right up! I originally purchased this for an older Toyota that has some electrical issues and drains the battery often and without reason or warning. Next time the car wouldn’t start, I used the GooLoo, hooked up clamps, checked the light, started right up.It’s the easiest and quickest way I’ve ever had getting a dead battery jumped. No more waiting for roadside assistance, thank you very much.I’ve also used it to start a dead battery on my Roadtrek - a small RV made over on an extended Chevy Express van chassis. Much bigger battery. It started right up! I had to call AAA for it once and it took their mechanic’s (well known name brand) pack charger 3 times and about 15 minutes! With the GooLoo, I just snapped the clamps on, turned the key and it started right up.I am very impressed and very pleased with this purchase. Worth every penny. I recommend it to anyone running around with an iffy battery or like my Toyota, drains the battery, or just for peace of mind. I’ve only had mine 3 months so I’ll edit if something happens.It comes in a nice zipper case to keep everything together so I don’t lose anything, looks like it’s made well and won’t fall apart anytime soon. There’s even a flashlight on the side but other than check to see if it works, I haven’t used it.Overall, definitely 5 stars and would recommend to friends and family.

I have had a Gooloo jump starter since 2017, almost 8 years. I have only used it a few times but it has always worked great, from a 4 cylinder to a big V8 engine. I recently had to go jump start my daughters car on a rainy night when she was stuck at work and everyone else had left. After sitting in my trunk untouched for a year or two it still showed 100% and after jumping her car showed 98%. (I always recharge to 100% after I use it, before putting it back). I am very impressed with the Gooloo devices and have bought them for my wife, son, and now just got a 4th for my daughter to keep in her car. Very good for a piece of mind on keeping your loved ones safe and much better to be self reliant than having to ask strangers for a jump start.

For about the past 10 years I used an old-school, Glore JNC 660. It weighs about 20 - 25 pounds and when I bought it the price was close to $200. It still works great but now lives in my garage since I'm not up to lugging it in and out of the car trunk these days.I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical about this purchase. I generally try to buy from well known American companies but it is next to impossible to find anything not made offshore. NOCO, one of the better known products of this type used to claim made in USA but that no longer seems to be the case. Besides, this unit was half the price of a comparable NOCO, had better specs and came with a nice zippered hard case. To top it all off, it weighs just over a pound.I bought it about 6 months ago, charged it and then it sat in the trunk until I needed it yesterday to start a car which I know needs help starting after going unused for long periods (yes, I know a new battery would probably solve that problem). Connection was simple and foolproof. The car started, first try, within two seconds of turning the key. All without any backstrain!Of course it remains to be seen how long the Gooloo holds a charge and what its service life will be but so far I'm very satisfied.UPDATE 1/29/2024:It has been about 6 months. I've used the unit twice and it continues to work quite well. Stored in the trunk of my car, it still indicates that it is fully charged. So far, I remain satisfied,

Used about 5 times over a 2 and half year period and the internal battery will no longer charge to enable starting a vehicle. Worth spending a little more and get a more powerful charger.

Works great and purchased a 2nd one for my daughter. Just a good safety thing to have handy.

I purchased this several months ago and wanted to use it before submitting a review. Unfortunately, we had to rely on this a couple of times during the winter to jump our Subaru. BUT fortunately for us, this little charger was up to the task. It did not fail in very cold weather, starting our car on the first try each time we used it. Gooloo can do the job and gives us peace of mind. We don't go anywhere without it now.
