Surprised to love it!
I was a little dubious about buying this... My old airbrush needed a new nozzle and it seems they no longer available in that particular size for model brush I have, so this was an emergency purchase. I thought, it's so cheap, if it's no good I might at least be able to use it for spares! It arrived very quickly and I was surprised at the quality and feel of the brush. It's lovely to use, the action is smooth and easy to control and the flow of the paint is perfect for detail work and wider colouring. I haven't tried changing the nozzles and pin yet as the size already in there was perfect for the project. Cleaning is simple with a rinse through immediately after use. I used a small paint brush inside the well to get around the pin and there's plenty of space in there to get the brush into the trickier bits. Love it!

Fantastic Airbrush Kit for Beginners and Hobbyists
The Timbertech® ABPST01 Airbrush Kit is a solid choice for anyone starting out in airbrushing or looking to expand their hobby toolkit. It comes with everything you need to get started, including an adapter, hose, and multiple nozzles and needles, making it versatile for a range of projects. The airbrush itself feels sturdy and well-made, with smooth operation and decent precision for both fine details and broader coverage. The variety of needle sizes is a great addition, allowing you to experiment with different spray patterns. The included hose and adapter make setup straightforward, even for someone new to airbrushing. While it performs well for the price, it’s worth noting that this is more suited for beginner or intermediate users rather than professionals looking for ultra-fine precision. It’s perfect for hobbies like model painting, cake decorating, or even small DIY projects. Overall, this kit offers excellent value for money and provides everything you need to dive into airbrushing without needing to purchase additional components. Highly recommended for hobbyists and beginners!

Fantastic budget airbrush
For reference this is the second airbrush I've owned, so I'm not very experienced with airbrushes. The other is a Bartsharp 186 which I'm certain arrived faulty as it was constantly clogging on me and air was escaping around the trigger, hence why I bought this kit. So, for less money (£20 Vs £35) I got a functional airbrush with 3 sizes of needle/nozzle/cap, all necessary accessories, and a nice box to store spare parts in. My only complaint is that the paint cup and well at the bottom are a bit of a pain to clean compared to the Bartsharp. This is partly due to the fact the cup is non-removable, but also because the well at the bottom of the cup has been cut with right angles and wasn't rounded, so paint collects in the corners. It's not a deal breaker but it's a bit of a pain to clean when changing colours. Overall though I'd give it 4.5/5. Fantastic value, just with a single minor flaw.

Very Easy to use
Wasn't expecting much for the price, but Oh boy was I surprised. Previously used an expensive Iwata Neo brush and had nothing but trouble with it, constantly blocking and a real disappointment so much so its confined to the back of a cupboard.. Purchased this as a temp measure but straight away it impressed. Have used it several times on some large models and its not blocked once, the selection of needles allows you to set the brush up for different applications to suit your own style and its very easy to clean when you have done. The only drawback for me, and this is purely me, the large paint cup is just a fraction too near the trigger for my stumpy digits, but that's a me thing, not a brush thing. Certainly wont be buying an expensive brush again as I could buy 6 of these kits for one of the Iwata. Definitely a good pick for learners and intermediate users, can't praise it enough

Fantastic for the price
I'm not an airbrush professional, just an avid enthusiast. My experience of this airbrush has been great. There are a few steps one should take before spraying to improve the airbrush and turn it into something worth 10 times the price. Take all the needles in the kit and polish them with steel polish. I put the needle in a drill and while its spinning held a rag with the polish stuff on it until it was real shiny. To make the airbrush this cheap they can't do all the fine finishing steps like the expensive brands. So save yourself a lot of money and put 5 to 10 min into doing the finishing steps yourself. It may sound a bit silly but you'll have to trust me on it. If the needle isn't perfectly smooth it does not create a proper closed seal and makes it easier for paint to dry and clog up the tip. The actual construction and material used for the airbrush is good quality. If mine where to break sometime in the future I'd buy this again.

Surprisingly good for the price
Everything you need out of the box except the compressor. It's not up to Paasche quality of course but at this price point it's a great starting point to learn how to use an airbrush, and if you are just doing things like priming models or terrain, you may never need another one. The three(!) different needles and nozzles give a good range of effects from reasonably fine lines to wide spray patterns. The control is reasonable, though you will get splatter if you let off the air before you stop the paint - the same for more expensive airbrushes. There are a couple of downsides. I find the trigger placement off for my hand. The edge of the button tends to dig into my finger when spraying for an extended period. Like all airbrushes you must keep it scrupulously clean or it will clog. This is problematic for this unit because the spray tips are tiny - much smaller, and one presumes cheaper to make, than more expensive brands. Their size makes them difficult to remove or reinstall even with the provided wrench, and if you drop on on the carpet, forget it, it's gone forever. There is no explanation of what the chrome knob is on the end of the handle and after turning it randomly then giving up and using Google, I discovered it's an adjustable stop that you can use to limit the trigger travel to ensure you get a consistent paint flow when needed. The final minor downside is the lack of even a cheap wire or stamped metal holder. Is it a great air brush? No, but it a good one, very good at this price point. I may upgrade in the future, but I'll still keep this one around for basic spraying.

Verified Purchase ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Entry-Level Kit - Perfect Precision for Scale Models and Crafts!
I purchased this Timbertech ABPST01 airbrush kit to use for custom painting on scale models and small woodworking crafting projects, and the overall performance has been absolutely outstanding. Finding a reliable, budget-friendly airbrush that doesn't constantly jam, sputter, or spray unevenly can be a real gamble, but this complete kit handles the task with fantastic precision right out of the box. The build quality of the airbrush body is excellent. It features a solid, comfortable weight in the hand and a highly responsive dual-action trigger that gives you total control over both airflow and paint volume simultaneously. What makes this kit a phenomenal value is the comprehensive accessory bundle. Getting multiple nozzle and needle sizes along with the air hose and compressor adapter means you can rapidly switch between fine detail linework and broader background shading without having to buy separate specialty components. The fluid flow is incredibly consistent, laying down smooth, even coats of acrylics and primers without any annoying tool chatter or sudden paint splatters. It handles thin, precise detailing effortlessly, making it perfect for custom stencil work, weathering effects, or fine hobby detailing. It is also surprisingly easy to disassemble for routine maintenance, and the included needles fit perfectly back into place with tight, leak-free seating. If you want a durable, versatile, and highly cost-effective airbrush system to tackle custom crafting and detailing projects in your shop, this Timbertech kit is an absolute home run.
