Do the life time warranty work in Ireland , and what is the annual cost for calibration

Calibration of my tester was £99 this year including P&P.

How often would it need to be calibrated? I only have a few items to test

The HSE, in common with all PAT Tester manufacturers, recommend annual calibration (so basically any PAT tester, regardless of make or model, will need calibrating annually). If you only need to test a few items, then it might be more cost-effective to either get together with a few people/organisations, and arrange to collectively buy, use and calibrate a tester, or alternatively many tool and equipment hire companies offer calibrated PAT testers for fixed-term hire - so you may find that hiring a tester for the day or even a week may prove cheaper than purchasing one and calibrating it annually.
