Soft and cozy, but definitely need to size up!
Like many comments said, this sweater is very soft and comfortable, but the sizing is a little off. I took previous reviewer's advice and ordered a 4x (26w-28w) instead of my normal 3x (24w) and that was definitely the way to go. Even after a size up, the arms (especially the wrist and the upper arms) are still more tight then usual, the shoulders are still a little small, and the arms are just barely long enough, but still easily wearable. Do yourself a favor and size up and least one, even it's it's a little big that's still cuter than a too small crewneck. For reference:Normal size is 3x/24Height is 5'11"Bra size is 38B

Odd fit, shrinks a LOT.
I'm not entirely sure how to answer the "how does it fit" question, because "too big" and "too small" don't really suffice. I'll explain.I got two of these sweatshirts intending to wear them around the house in the winter, as it gets very cold here. As such, I bought them a size large to fit over other shirts. The cut it very odd. The item description claims that it's cut "to fit your curves" and "forget boxy sweats". Well, this sweatshirt is the epitome of boxy! I am tall so despite my size I still have a mostly hourglass figure and the shape of the sweatshirt does not fit to my curves in any way. When held out it appears wider than it is long, so it's a very rectangular shap, but then the arms are very narrow and fitted, which makes it diffcult to wear long sleeved shirts under it. I did buy it a size larger but I can't imagine that the correct size would fit any better or be more flattering. Plus, it shrank so much after laundering that the extra size has been nullified. I'd say it's become a half size too small.Additionally, the fleece is very thin. I could see this being a benefit in other climates, or as a means to avoid adding more bulk to a plus size figure, but I bought sweatshirts to keep me warm and the thin fleece coupled with the narrow sleeves makes it unsuitable for this purpose. So, because of the fitted sleeves and the amount it shrank I'm rating it as a bit too small, but overall the fit is odd.

Just My Size just lost my business.
I have never encountered a more poorly designed and contstructed garment, especially from a company that supposedly specializes in clothes for plus size women.I wanted this to be very loose and baggy, so I ordered a 5x. It doesn't fit! The arms are TINY, it barely reaches my waist, and it has the general shape of a box.Just My Size has had more than enough time in the plus size clothing business to have learned to make plus size clothes. I'm tired of having to retur everything I buy from them. They're no longer worth the effort.

Very Basic Sweatshirt
I wanted a few sweatshirts to wear at home since the weather is getting cooler and I'm working from home for at least the next few months. I didn't want to spend a lot and these were reasonably cheap. I usually wear a 1x or 2x if I want a looser fit. After reading the reviews I bought a 5x. I'm glad I did. I'm bottom heavy and there is plenty of room in the torso and hips. I'm 5'2 and it hits right below my butt, although I'm short waisted and it tends to ride up, so in no way would I consider it acceptable to wear out with leggings, but in the house and yard it's fine. The sleeves felt short and constricting at the wrists. I don't have flabby arms, so I don't know how that's possible. I ended up cutting the cuffs off right above the seam and stretched the fabric. It rolled nicely and the hem looks like it came that way. Honestly, I'm glad I cut them because it's cute compared to the generic sweatshirt look. The fabric isn't impressively soft or strechy. It's a basic fleece sweatshirt. I'm still giving it four stars because it serves its purpose. That said, I think next time I'd wait for a sale at Old Navy.

Horrible fabric quality & bottom binding
I think they dug these out of the warehouse from a decade ago. Especially since they had no stock on their own store but did on Amazon. That's the last time I saw JMS sweatshirts made like this. Inferior quality. Poor fit. No one in plus sizes wants a sweatshirt that is snug at the bottom binding and pouches like a sack above it. And the body fabric is pilling city. Just look at it sideways and the cheap=cheap fabric pills start forming. Great for painting a room. Not fit for public display.

I have been looking everywhere for a sweatshirt just like this for casual wear
I have been looking everywhere for a sweatshirt just like this for casual wear. Lately, it seems that most women's sweatshirts have necks that are too low; not real crewnecks. This is a comfortable crewneck - not binding around the neck but not a cross between a crew neck and a scoop neck either. The fabric is so soft, not at all stiff, and just the right weight to be cozy but not uncomfortably warm. Finally, the fit is slightly boxy, not a tight band at the bottom or fitted through the body, but not bulky either. In other words, it is perfect in every way as long as it doesn't shrink when I wash it. I like it so much, and the price is so reasonable, that I am ordering a couple more in pink, white, and the jazzberry pink - the colors I like - so I'll have backups when they start to wear out. A plain sweatshirt is what I want to throw on weekend mornings; I don't want to have to mess with layers or clothes that take too much work!

I normally would have ordered a 2x to be comfortable. I ordered a 4x and so glad I ...
After reading the other reviews, I ordered 2 sizes up because I wanted a roomy sweatshirt. Some also mentioned that the sleeves are a little skinny ... I can see how this would be a problem for some as they are a bit on the slim side. Based on the size chart, I normally would have ordered a 2x to be comfortable. I ordered a 4x and so glad I did! It fits loose.UPDATED: Strange as it may be ... the sleeves of the gray one are skinnier than the sleeves of the blue, however, both are 4x. It is a little uncomfortable.

Cozy sweater
I bought this sweater for my mother and she likes it. She is 5'5" tall and weighs 229 pounds. She has large arms so I got the 3X. The 3X is roomy in the body on her. The sleeves are not tight but they are not as loose as they could be for the size of the garment.

Fits perfectly
I love this sweater. It's not tight which is amazing. I ordered a size up from my normal. I am 5'4 and 220lbs. Just so you know how it may fit you :) and it's super comfy

WAY shorter than the ad says!
This sweater is VERY short, with narrow arms. I'm not particularly tall (~ 5'5" with a short torso) and it's like a belly shirt on me! I thought for sure ordering a 2XL would leave me with a nice, comfy, large sweater.... Instead I received a very short sweater fits roughly like an XL, at most. It's definitely not the 27.5" that the add claims - it's closer to 24" (measuring from the tallest point possible).

The sizing in these tops really needs to be addressed!
I ordered these by 2 or 3 x's my usual size (because of other reviews stating size issues) & the body fit but the arms are way too small around in proportion to the rest of the top - just ridiculous. Total waste of my money especially when I had ordered 2 of these tops - will not order again!

Terrific Sweatshirt!
I love this top! At 79 years, my body tends to feel the cold a whole lot more than it did when I was 69! Pitiful what age does! Anyway, finding this top has been like striking it rich. I don't like heavy tops so this sweatshirt is a perfect weight for me. It is so soft and comfy I wanted to keep it on but I like to wash everything before I wear it. The top washed up perfectly. I used warm water and only air dried it for about twenty minutes in the dryer then hung it to complete the drying. I bought the pink top. It is a beautiful soft pink...think of the candy floss you indulged in at the carnival and that's the color of the top. I would suggest going up one size. I normally take a 3X and I ordered the 4X. Perfect fit, arms, bust, waist and hips and one more exciting thing...the hem just covers my butt! None of this down to the knee caps on the length. It's a bit chilly here in Canada right now but I know my new top will be keeping me comfortable and cozy. So now I'm waiting for this seller to replenish his store on Amazon so I can get a couple of other colors. Great buy for a great top! Five stars to the seller, JMS and also to Amazon for carrying these wonderful sweatshirts. Stay safe everyone!

Sure Not My Size! Narrow arms, thick seams
This Just My Size 5X size is the same as a 3X Fruit Of The Loom sweatshirt. I laid one shirt on top of the other to check because the 5X fits me ok (I wanted loose), but the JMS lower arms are incredibly narrow and tight. Totally out of proportion with the rest of the shirt.I don't have huge arms, but the lower arms on this shirt fit so snugly I can't even roll up the sleeves. Am thinking of just cutting off the sleeves at the elbow.Very strange proportions for this shirt, and also for the JMS leggings I bought recently (short, tight legs but unusually long upper part). The seams on both are also thick, bulky, itchy.I'm very unimpressed with JMS products.
