I have one in my purse, house and grandparents house. Taught my kids how to use it too.

Fortunately didn't get to try this in a life saving situation.But did test it out. And it works great.I just tried a gum in mouth and such and it pulled incredible amounts.Materials are basic nothing special but nothing negative. Use is simple. Bad reference. But think a toilet plunger.Simply it works! And worth it!!

Made well. I called the local fire department and they cannot. advise the use of this product. It's not approved for their fire station. Hope I don't have to use it.

I am not confident that in the moment of an emergency I would remember all the steps for the Heimlich maneuver. This device helps with that. The three sizes all come in a storage bag. There are alcohol wipes included so you can he device after testing it and I do recommend you test it to know how to use it. A lot of information with photos is included. The steps on how to use it, other first aid facts related, and information about how the device works and should be used. You can also use this device on yourself. Choking can be a very scary feeling (both for yourself and as a parent or caregiver). It also says if you use the device to save someone, contact them for a free replacement. These are meant to be disposable devices. Hopefully I never have to use it but if there is an emergency I am much better prepared.

When I first saw this kind of device, I knew I needed to get one for my family. I spent a hundred dollars on another brand that only gives you two face masks and one pump. When I tried it, I almost sucked out a lung, so it seems to work. Well, this one is much better priced since you don't have to decide which mask to use and then add it to the pump. These are all ready to go. You do have to make sure you use one with the proper fit. I tried a larger one and it didn't have any suction. When I went to the smaller size, it had the same effect as before, almost sucking out a lung. One thing to keep in mind, if you are using this on someone else, it is easier when they are on the ground. My daughter was gagging on ice, my husband got the suction thing out, but it wouldn't work because we couldn't create a good vacuum while she was standing up. The best thing to do is practice before an incident happens.

I saw a commercial ad for this item by the man who invented these. It only takes a few short minutes for someone to die from choking....and the Heimlech manuever may not be feasible, so I decided to get these to keep in case of a choking emergency. They are in a kit and individually wrapped. There are 3 sizes and clear, concise instructions on how to use them. I hope we will never need to use one, but I'm glad we have them just in case.

I was so excited to see these offered. I had just learned of these devices from a recent video I watched. I am in law enforcement and loved the idea of them. My department does not have these issued to officers. So, I decided to get this and put it in my patrol car just in case. The pack comes with a set of three. Small, medium, and large. They are made of durable material and all fit in a carry bag. This is perfect for throwing into the truck of my patrol vehicle. They are individually wrapped. They are good for one use and need to be replaced if you were to use them. The set comes with instructions that are easy to read and follow. I would suggest reading them and understanding them before the need of one of the devices. In a high stress situation, you don’t need to be bothered with reading instructions while someone is choking. I hope I never have to use these but I am glad I have them on hand if I do.
