Purchased this microscope as I'm interested in nature and insects etc. Was not sure if it would work on my samsung tablet, but I followed instructions, charged it, switched it on, clicked onto the Internet Signal, I was a little worried as it " connected without internet" but that is OK, clicked onto the "DM WIfi" app which I previously downloaded and it worked perfectly. The detail of the magnified objects is perfect, I was really surprised at how clear the images are. An excellent product, I even tried it on an old 2013 I Pad and again it worked perfectly. I certainly recommend this microscope. Excellent value.

My research involves reading a lot of microfiche material, but my local university library no longer has a microfiche reader. I bought the Cainda to test if I could use it to read a microfiche. The answer is yes you can, but it's not as easy as I expected. It's OK for short bursts, but you wouldn't want to read extended texts, and you need a very steady hand to get a reliable page of text. My feeling is that it would get a lot better with practice, so a good fix for an annoying problem. I'm running the Cainda using Linux Mint 22. It works fine on one of my machines, but not the other. Don't know why.

I couldn’t recommend this product enough! The ease of use and incredibly impressive images combined with such a low price is amazing! I’m shocked you can get something so powerful and so affordable! This would make an amazing gift for curious minds. It can connect to anything wirelessly(computers, android, iPhones, iPads etc) You simply download an app, then when you turn the microscope on, you connect to its Wi-Fi signal, open the app and away you go! Amazing and highly recommend.

Works perfectly worth the money

I received this 4K 3840x2160P WiFi Digital Microscope with high hopes, but I must admit I'm somewhat disappointed. The pixel clarity falls short of my expectations. While the device claims to be 4K, the image quality doesn't quite match up. The WiFi connectivity is convenient, allowing for easy usage with my iPhone, and PC. However, the overall experience was marred by the lack of truly clear visuals. It's frustrating when you can't see fine details as expected. The wireless handheld design is comfortable, but I found myself struggling to capture the sharp, precise images I had hoped for. It felt more like a 1080p microscope in practice, rather than a true 4K device. In summary, this microscope has its merits with its wireless capabilities and ease of use on various platforms. However, if you're seeking genuinely crisp 4K imaging, you might want to explore other options.

I love a microscope - I have four old style microscopes - so a digital microscope? Sign me up! If you use an iMac, as I do, then this is super easy to set up and use - basically plug it in, turn it on, open Photo Booth and take pictures. You can also download the xploview software for a different experience. I haven't linked it to my phone or a camera yet, but my experience of using it on a desktop is most impressive. The images shown are variously shells, coral, a desk and skin. I'm interested in using this to take unusual pictures - I've recently joined a photographic society and I'm going to use this to take macro images. You can alter the magnification and adjust the light level very easily, but as with most things the golden rule is practice, practice, practice! All the images here are hand held, it would be better to use a stand or bracket of some kind just to make sure the image is stable - at 1000x magnification even a small tremor will cause the image to be out of focus. I will certainly consider purchasing a stand. This could be viewed as a bit of a toy - it really isn't, this is a serious piece of kit for anyone needing to do close up or fine work. I shall mainly be using it for art photography and just for the fun of looking closely at things - the fascination of the mundane if you like. At £30.99 (as at 9 September 2023) I think this is an excellent value piece of kit and I would recommend to anyone with an interest in science, photography, is an enthusiastic hobbyist - actually, pretty much anyone. UPDATE - When you go online to download the software for this microscope they state that if you want a stand for your microscope just email them at the address they give with the following message in the subject line 'I want a metal stand for my Cainda X201 microscope' and they will send you a stand FREE OF CHARGE. I did this at 11.51 am on Saturday morning and a stand was delivered to my address at 14.46 the next day! Incredible after service, cannot fault them. Well done Cainda.

Es hat meine Fähigkeit zur Erforschung der Welt um mich herum erweitert und mir eine leistungsstarke Werkzeug zur Verfügung gestellt, um Dinge zu entdecken, die ich zuvor nie für möglich gehalten hätte. Dieses Mikroskop ist ein Must-Have für alle Wissenschaftsenthusiasten, unabhängig von ihrem Erfahrungslevel. Ich kann es nicht genug empfehlen!
