Smart Lock C220, Fingerprint Keyless Entry Door Lock

I've tried the higher end palm reading smart lock and it was a complete nightmare. Everybody was either getting locked out or took over 20 minutes to get inside. It then decided to start malfunctioning This one however just works and was easy to set up. Setup was super easy and you can get in quickly It works with all your smart devices and if you already got eufy equipment you are set It has all the needed features the higher end ones have without any of the extra garbage that doesn't work consistently. It's nice to be able to set up temporary codes and fingerprints for people. That would come in handy if you have an air b&b you are renting out and want codes to expire or if you have a cleaning lady or dog sitter. You can remotely unlock the door from your phone at work if the Amazon guy needs to get a package out of sight. I have mine hooked up to my alexas so if I forget to lock one of my doors I can ask her to do it. Highly recommended. Oh, and have a pro locksmith install I it's worth the fee as they'll make sure the unit is installed correctly and the dead bolt has a big enough hole before calibration.

Great price for a solid well designed product. I looked at a number of locks like this one, but none matched the features, price and quality I wanted. This is my first Eufy product and so far so good. High quality and a pretty easy install and setup. Make sure this will fit properly in your door. See the measurements provided by the company. The app is really pretty easy to use and I love the auto locking feature and the ability to temporarily assign a code to the person that takes care of our cats while we are away. It keeps a log of all the ins and outs and it also had alerts that let you know if the lock is being used. I need to take the time to fix the weather stripping our door so it closes completely, because sometimes the lock can't lock because the door is not fully closed. That is the fault of the door, not the lock and the cool thing is that the app tells me when it tries to automatically lock and failed. The only negative I have seen is that on a rare occassion, the lock seems to glitch when I go to lock it when leaving the house. I just wait a beat and then put my thumb on it again and it works great. The lock looks great and seems to be well built. We use it with Alexa as well and it was easy to integrate into the Alexa app. Fingerprint recognition is the same as what you do on the phone and it has never failed for any of us. We no longer have to worry about making keys or losing them, but it does come with a key in case there is an electical issue of some kind. I am really happy with this purchase from a price to quality and features perspective and highly recommend it.

This is our first experience installing a keyless entry system. The installation was very simple and took no longer than 20 minutes. We just started using it a week ago, and some of the fingers I registered for fingerprint unlock don't work, but I also have quite sweaty hands. I think I may need to re-register some of them. But the codes work flawlessly. It's so convenient not having to take a key out with you. We give our house cleaner a code that is only valid on the days she comes, and it's worked well for us. The app is also very useful in letting you know who is coming in and out of your house. I just hope the battery life is as long as advertised, so we'll see.

This is the second brand of smart lock that I’ve tried. The original brand was awful and died very quickly. This brand, however, is very reliable and easy to use. The only time I had trouble with it was when I tried setting up a temporary passcode for some repairman, but I'm not sure if the passcode wasn't working because of how I set it up or how they were trying to access it. It very well could have been user error, but I was able to fix it with just creating a normal passcode and then deleting it when they were completed with the work. You can monitor who accessed it last, and there is also a log showing you several different times the lock was accessed. You can connect it to your echo device, though that doesn't always work. I found that when connecting it to my echo, it tends to say that the door lock is not responding. The way I have noticed to be the best way to fix that is just to essentially wake up the lock by locking it and unlocking it. It's kind of annoying having to do that, but those are the only things I've had problems with and those are minor for me. 99% of the time the lock is working perfectly, or it gives me a reason why it wasn't working. My door was kind of old, so there were times when the door would shift slightly and the lock would get jammed, but it would give you an error if that was the case so you can pull the door all the way closed to then have the door lock or unlock. I have now bought two of these locks, and I am debating buying a third one for entry into my garage door. This lock is more than just a convenience; it is an accessibility tool for me so that I am able to manipulate it independently without needing assistance due to a disability. This has been a game changer for me.

It works well most of the time. I enjoy not having to bring keys and being able to give guests their own access code. It frequently fails to lock in the winter; you have to push the door shut when the inside and outside pressures differ. Maybe it’s my door that is the problem and not the lock. A slightly annoying feature is that it will lock the door even when I just went through it. The timer is based on when it was unlocked and has no idea that you are unloading groceries and will be going through it over and over. Not a deal breaker though. It takes 8 AA batteries, which lasted about 9 months. A rechargeable battery pack would be nicer. Overall, I'm very happy to have it. The installation was simple; it took about 15 minutes. It's really nice not to have to dig out keys or get locked out if you forgot them.

I spent over $400 on what I thought was a full Eufy home security setup. I bought the HomeBase 2, the 5-piece sensor kit, smart lock, doorbell camera, outdoor camera, chime, and more. I expected to feel safe in my home. Instead, I got a system that can barely be heard and a support team that doesn’t even understand how their own products work. Only the HomeBase 2 makes a sound when the alarm is triggered. None of the sensors, cameras, or other components ring. Just one small box with a 100 dB siren sitting upstairs next to my router. I live in a two-story home. One day the alarm rang for hours and I didn’t even notice. Neither did my neighbors. What kind of security system is that? When I contacted customer service, I explained everything clearly. I gave them the facts, the issue, and the exact solution. Their replies were insulting. They asked me if I had tried turning up the volume. I had. They told me to try different alarm tones. I had. They told me to move the HomeBase, even though I clearly said it had to stay next to the router. Then they told me to use my doorbell camera as a siren, which is connected to a chime and would go off with every passerby. It’s not even linked to the HomeBase alarms. That suggestion made no sense at all. Then came the most ridiculous part. They actually asked me if my house had walls. Yes, my house has walls. That’s how houses work. If your product can’t be heard through a wall, it’s not fit to be called a security system. It got worse. They asked if my motion sensors and entry sensors made noise. These devices do not emit sound. They never have. It’s shocking that their own support team doesn’t even know how their products function. That’s basic information and they clearly didn’t have it. They also told me Eufy doesn’t make a separate siren. I had to send them a link to their own siren listed on Amazon before they even acknowledged it existed. I asked for two of them to be sent to me as a fair resolution. After dodging the request with emotional reassurances and irrelevant replies, they just stopped responding. To make things even more frustrating, one of the cameras I bought wasn’t compatible with the system. I only found this out through trial and error, because the product description doesn’t mention it. Nowhere does it say it won’t work. That’s on them. There’s no actual customer service number. You’re left emailing support reps who don’t read your messages, don’t know the products, and give you useless copy-paste responses while stalling you into silence. I handed them the solution. I explained the problem from day one. I did all the work for them. The moment I had an airtight case and knocked down every excuse they had, they disappeared. If you want a system that’s reliable, loud, and backed by people who care about your safety, this isn’t it. The design is flawed, the listings are misleading, and the customer service will waste your time until you give up. I regret buying this. You will too. Update: After weeks of trying to work with Eufy support, I was offered a refund that doesn’t even cover the cost of fixing the problem. I asked for two sirens so the system could function properly, or a refund to cover the actual price. They refused both and closed the case. Since I pointed out the siren was on Amazon, it was suddenly removed and now only shows up on their website. I gave them every chance to resolve this and they chose not to. Think twice before trusting this system to protect your home.

I bought one for my front and garage doors and I really love them. I was using Yale before and they were ok but the batteries died so quickly and the fit wasn’t very good. I installed these, which were way cheaper and I’m incredibly impressed. I have a few other Eufy products so I thought I’d give these a try and I’m very glad I did. This is the first time I’ve ever installed a lock and it went exactly to plan on both doors with fit and finish. Smart features and fingerprint sensors are also working perfectly.

I spent a lot of time researching locks and reading reviews and the eufy lock is just what I was looking for! I was looking for multiple ways to lock and unlock - remotely via an app, key, code that can be changed or assigned to different people. I also wanted to monitor the access - who’s coming in and out of the house. This lock does it all! I love being able to know who has entered the house. It brings me a lot of comfort. I absolutely love that this lock is so easy to set up. Download the app, create a user profile and create your codes. The fingerprint was very easy as well. I didn’t think I would use it but it really comes in handy when my hands are full! I love it so much I bought another one for a family members house.

It has been a month or so since I purchased this lock. I wanted to test it for some time before writing a review. And now a month later, I can say definitively that this is the best smart lock in the market. It simply just works. Once I installed the lock, it paired with the eufy app seamlessly. The features I looked for where all found in this lock: 1. Lock must be smart (ie. connects to the wifi to allow me to control it remotely and get status if it’s locked or not at night). Being smart, it means I can generate one time codes to let people in remotely over the wifi. This convenience you wont have with a non-smart lock or Bluetooth connected locks. As those require you to be next to the lock to make modifications like add a new entry code or allow someone in. 2. Fingerprint entry. This is a game changer in terms of convenience. You want the fingerprint feature as it will save you a ton of time. You don’t have to manually enter digits one at a time. It’s a must have time saver. 3. Key pad. In case I want to let a guest in, they can enter using the keypad. I can generate a one time code ahead of time and send it to them via messaging. 4. Back up USB power port: In the rare case your batteries run out, this convenient power allows you to power the lock with a USB power bank and let you in the house. Then you can replace the batteries. 5. Battery powered: it uses 8xAA batteries, which seems a lot at first, but it means it will last long. It has been 1 month now and the lock is working very well. Using removable batteries makes this product more affordable, which is a huge plus. 6. It looks good! 7. Customer service has been really kind to me. The above 7 reasons make this lock an unbeatable lock. Yes, it doesn’t have a camera and it doesn’t have a door bell feature, but I already have a doorbell camera in my front door. I use this smart lock in my back door. A note on customer service: Customer service is very good. After I purchased the smart door lock and then after opening it, I realized that my door had an old style drive-in plate instead of the modern square plate. The instructions that came with the product said to contact customer service. My initial thought was that customer service would have a really difficult time to solve my problem. But to my surprised, they were very helpful. There was a little confusion in the beginning, but when they figured out what I was missing, they went above and beyond to help me locate the necessary part and then placed an order for me. This showed me that they really care. I have trust in the brand and the products and now recommend to friends and family! If you are having some doubts or haven’t quite decided on which smart lock you want to use in your home, this is that lock. Get it. You will love it. If you have money and need some more features like video camera, eufy’s got you. Trust me, just get it, you won’t regret.
