works well
Works well on med size logs but it would be nice if it had a longer handle on it so you would use it on bigger logs. Other than that it is great, keeps my chain out of the dirt which is all that matters.

Tough Tool
I have used the tool several times to harvest firewood and am very pleased with it. I chose the Peavey model because of the rugged constrution and have not been disappointed.
