The bottom is also padded-- a nice touch that helps keep me comfortable while sitting.Another thoughtful addition is the inclusion of two separate drains(one of which is on the very bottom of the bath), both for emptying quickly as well as being able to get out every bit of water. For me and my needs, this ice bath is perfect! Would highly recommend it.
