After our switch wouldn’t turn on or charge after months of non use, I chose this option first and it’s worked great! Little bit of a pain to do the intricate stuff, but that isn’t this products fault. Battery works well and holds charge like it should

My husband, who has no experience working on electronics was able to use this kit to give the kid's nintendo new life. Pretty user friendly.

After having to wait an extra 2 days for my package when I paid for expedited shipping, the tri wing screw driver they included has done nothing but strip the screws. My only options now are some kind of trick or drill. The cheap price is not worth it, just buy a different battery from someone else.

Replacement battery kit was easy to use but you’ll have to find videos online to guide you to the battery replacement steps. Instructions not included! Great price to repair my broken Switch to working condition again. Highly recommended!

Extended life of my phone!

Install was easy, it just plugs in and it comes with a reasonable sized piece of double stick tape to hold it down. The screwdrivers it came with are also decent and I didn't have any issues with them, however none of the plastic pry tools are strong enough.Nintendo uses unreasonably strong glue for the stock battery, if you get this grab some isopropyl alcohol, and get a set of flat plastic pry tools. I used some shaped like guitar picks but much larger and thicker and it still took about 30 minutes to work the battery up.It came almost fully charged, my switch only lasted about an hour before it would die before this and now it lasts significantly longer. The reasonable piece of adhesive this comes with means it won't be such a pain to replace the battery in the future also.Really the only thing this could improve is better plastic pry tools, and itd be amazing to see some thermal paste to replace the stock paste but you could get away without thermal paste anyways.

As an electronics repair shop, I normally just throw away the tools that come in these battery kits as they are usually junk, but this one actually had decent tools. I am happy to see that they put a spudger in the kit.Battery replacement was pretty standard. I do a lot of battery replacements in a variety of devices including cell phones, tablets, laptops, and game consoles.Battery replacement in a Switch is a breeze. Took about a half hour. The Switch is working great now. Much better battery life, but time will tell. When batteries fail, its usually within the first few months, so i'll update this review if needed, but so far this kit is great, only issue seems to be availability.
