NOT FOR HEAVY USE
I run a dealership, and detail is not always available for the occasional small scratch. I have used this 3 times now with the help of 9 bottles of wax/polish/compound from The Chemical Guys - worked great for the light scratches. It comes with 2 small rechargeable batteries, and the first one ran out fairly quickly. I buffed out a quick 2 stage session on a spoiler and light door scratch roughly 4" long before the battery indicator turned red. It didn't die on me during the process, but you will not be buffing an entire car with this. Go with the Dewalt for those heavy duty jobs. It is perfect for what I need it for.

Cool design but severely underpowered
I really wish this one worked out. Loved the design and it was super light, which was great for buffing items above my head - which I do. Easy to use one handed and you can use 2 hands, but that would assume the unit had enough power to be used or pushed on with 2 hands. Anything more than a light push and the motor stops. I tried some light waxing, which was ok, but the batteries didn't have good life. When one battery went dead, I'd stick it on the charger and start buffing with the 2nd battery. However, the 2nd battery would die and I still had to wait almost another hour before the light turned green, indicating the battery was charged. This might be fine for small light jobs, but definitely not for compounding or for larger jobs. In my case, I was buffing a boat and 2 batteries wasn't enough.I ended up buying another orbital buffer, the CanFix for $229. Yes, it was more money and it was heavier. However, it's a real tool. Finished a boat with 1 battery and could push on it like an electric orbital.

works well but is not very powerful
works as advertised. The screw on the round part that you attach the paper or buff to seems to loosen easily. If I push even slightly hard, it stops turning. Glad it comes with two batteries. Just seems like it should have more power.

Batteries are compatible with work pro dremel
Good price for all you get, even better I recently bought the workPro dremel tool with extra battery . I now have all the battery support I need for the buffer since they are interchangeable.

Wow!
Ok, I am definitely not using this for anything described with the product page. I am using it to bring an old, abandoned table saw back to life. It has a fairly heavy amount of rust on the cast iron top (I included a 'before' and 'after 10 minutes of polishing' pic with my review) but is otherwise in great operational shape. Not to mention, the price was right at "please haul this way" dollars.Anyhow, I have used the polisher for about 10 minutes on this project with one of the included 600 grit sanding pads and some lubricant for the top and the results are stunning. In 10 minutes, I've essentially removed all the surface rust from the table top - I am absolutely amazed at the results. It is slick and smooth as can be and since I used light pressure, 600 grit, and some lubricant, it barely removed any material but definitely got rid of the rust. I love this thing! It comes in a carrying/storage case, two batteries, the charger, and an assortment of 240 and 600 grit sanding pads, some rags, and a couple of bonnets for whenever I get around to actually using it as a polisher. The batteries seem to charge quickly - only about 20ish minutes for the first one (the one I've been using) while the second one is still in and charging. I literally stopped my little restoration project, took some pics, and came in to write this review with how pleased I am with this. The variable speed dial on the side is easy to operate with my thumb - even with my oily gloved hands, and the on/off switch on the top is easy to operate.I only write reviews after actually testing/using/installing products so I try to provide real world feedback. In my second pic, you can actually see the polisher as I left it when I took the pic. This thing is great!
