I ordered this bookcase and read on the box that it was smaller than the one I ordered so asked for a return and ordered another one but it was the same size so had two to send back. I heard from the seller that the size on the package was the size of the box and not the cabinet inside so decided to keep the two. I was pleasantly surprised as it was easier to build and much sturdier than a wider one I bought which was a nightmare and the back was like thin cardboard that ripped. The plans were really straight forward on these and I am so pleased I didn't send them back.

Look and are sturdy, it's a nice height if you have alot of books then the shelves are perfect good space between them, easy to put together ment to be 2 person job but my son did it with minimum help from me as in a wheelchair, end result with books looks really good, worth the cost, just wish I ordered 2 as so many books, I will be getting another one, so glad I bought it

Materials are not terrible but not great either.The design itself is also average. The system of joining the two half pieces is functional and allows the item to be transported at half length but does not encourage structural stabilityIn my opinion the instructions that come with this are basic and also instruct you to put this up in the wrong order.The 8 screws for the top and bottom are hex screws, this is not obvious as you cannot see the hex shape by looking at them and why not just ordinary wood screws?I don't believe the materials used would support a full compliment of books (maybe DVDs and lighter stuff)The measurements for the shelves are about 1mm maybe 2mm too short but because of the material used it stands outOverall functional but very expensive for what you get.

Sturdy piece of furniture and very easy to put together.

Cheap price for not super quality(unless I am the only who got it).Bad quality:scratches and actual book shelfs are a bit smaller than the frame,so you can shake them from.side to side.As its a book shelf for a very tiny place ,wasn't really bothered about cosmetic.Easy to assemble.

Arrived on Saturday and up and running today, full of lots of very happy books. Assembled them both without any help so if a 78 year old lady can do it, anyone can! No hiccups, no problems, all pieces fitted together well and my treasured books (MANY of them) are now smiling and loving their new home. Happy books, happy old lady. 😊

The media could not be loaded. I don't like giving 1 star reviews because I usually give a positive point about a product but for this there is no positive!It arrived broken and chipped. Regardless I was going to ask if the seller would send the two shelves and then build the rest anyway until I realised that the tools provided don't fit the screws and the screws don't fit the holes in the unit.Even when part was assembled it wasn't sturdy at all and kept wiggling. It was a massive waste of time and money.Even the material is super cheep. It's just chip wood that looks like it would expand at exposure to any slight humidity. Don't waste your money your best off going to Argos, B&Q or even the heart Foundation.I'm Incredibly disappointed. To top it all off, returning the item seems to be a nightmare because you have to wait for the seller to contact you about how to return it. Just save your money and time.
