My 3rd one they work great until critter chews a hole.

I use it as a poultry feeder I just added 3 wire bar across the opening I like the fact I can easily adjust the height as needed and it has a large capacity for the prices and i’m sure it would make a great deer feeder tooUpdate: I now have for of these feeders they only hold 50lbs-60lbs of pellets but I like the fact that I can just dump a bag of feed in and your done Also I removed the three wire bars I don’t think you need them the birds do spill some feed so I just put a small rubber bucket under it And whatever misses the bucket the birds clean up So it makes for a very little waist

Purchased the larger feeder to put something out during the winter for the deer that roam our property. This was easy to put up and easy to refill. The straps hold it securely to the tree. The lid is fits snugly; we've never had a problem with an animal or wind disturbing the feeder or the lid of the feeder. Corn stays dry.I put small piles of corn on the ground on the area around the feeder hoping it would attract the deer and lead them to the feeder. The deer found it within a few days. Now, they generally visit twice a day. I've added the smaller feeder to another nearby tree so more than one or two can munch on the corn at the same time.

This is a good deer feeder for what it is. It will mount to a t-post with two u-bolts provided with it. You may need to drill a couple of seep holes in the bottom to keep the water draining out of the opening. The feeder also comes with two straps to secure it to a tree if so desired. If you are mounting to a t-post, remember to add a length of PVC pipe over the post to give the coons something hard to climb up. Would buy again if needed....

This feeder is well designed and well made with heavy plastic. However, I have squirrels and they ate holes through the top on both back corners within a week. Now the squirrel population has at least tripled and I have them eating out of the feeder trough and inside too!

This product arrived exactly as described. It did accept 80 lbs of corn. The only issue I had, was upon arrival, the cut out was very sloppy. I had to trim the cut out where the deer will eat from so they would hurt their mouths with the sharp edges that were left from factory cut out. Will he purchasing another one soon.

Super great feeder, will buy at least 2 more in the near future. Nice thick plastic construction and straps to a tree in just a few minutes via the two mounting straps that come with it. It’s now several months later and ne of the straps broke due to the plastic of the feeder. The holes that the straps feed through the feeder is sharpe started cutting through the straps!

Works good but if you have squirrels and coons they will figure out they can chew through the straps and drop that sucker on the ground. FYI. Might want to drill a few hole in the bottom for the rain to drain out.
