Takes a little practice to use as there is no shortage of polish in the sponge section. Overall, I like it.

I was a church once wearing dull black leather boots. My friend there saw them and told me to wait a few mintues while she went to her car and got the black one of these three instant shine sponges. I was SO impressed! No cloths and no dirty mess on your hands. I recently used the brown one on a Western-printed pair of Dansko shoes that are over ten years old. It didn't fix the rubbed-off printed areas obviously, but it shined the rest of the shoe so nicely that I got over five compliments on them when I wore them. Highest recommendations.

Nice in concept. Terrible in execution. These are basically three very tall sponges that have the tips of the sponge dabbed in some sort of coloring. Other than the first 3mm of the sponge, my sponges were dry. Even if they applied a quality shine, it would not last more than one paid of shoes. The brown product made my J&M shoes look like someone painted them with water paint. (the cleaner fixed this for me). The neutral was dry. The black worked, but left the shoes dull looking. You get what you pay for. I am headed back to my old product. These are not worth the bother. Going back to Amazon....

The brown is more like show cream. Sort of dull. All three lasted a week
