I used a hair dryer on the ends and it flattened right out no problem. You can also as they say take it out in the sun and let it bake, however I was in the middle of hurricane Helene and we can't exactly cease the sun for another day or two. Is extremely easy to put out sit down install it and then use it. And so far I haven't had any issues with scratching it or marring the surface in any way. I would get another one if I needed one. Nice Review: Clear mat to transition the space between work desk and dining table - durable, lays flat. - Exactly what I needed for a small home office set-up on the dining room table at my home. I have nice hardwood floors and had used a carpet style mat for about FIVE YEARS but it became dirty over time and was not washable. This clear mat allows you to move your office chair out of the way and you do not have a super visible carpet mat sitting under the table which looks weird. This mat is well made and seemd durable - I have had it down for about one week and I have no issues with it. For the price it is a decent value and is basically invisible in the space. ## Features - 【Specialized Designed】Designed for HARDWOOD FLOOR surfaces only. No gripper.
